my guidance conseleur was nice, i talked with her several times. I never had issues that I was called in on or anything. Mostly education related.
|
I <3 my counselor.
When she found out I was gay, she started calling me down every few weeks and talking to me for sometimes two full periods. She asks me questions about how I figured it out, what I did when I did, and what I think should be done in educational programs to deal with homosexuality. I'm not supposed to tell anyone about it, because she'd totally get fired for it. But god. It makes me feel good when I get done.
Maybe she's gay too. |
The second time was worse. Guidance was calling everyone down one by one to talk about their plans after high school, and when I told her I wanted to try to be a proffessional musician in addition to becoming an architect, she told me to be realistic and focus on a real career. I instantly got up and left.
people like her are the reason for so much mediocrity in the world. we've only got one very short chance at this whole life thing. what a horribly depressing waste of it all. EDIT: pespi, your counselor rules. |
so i just got back from my friend's. we played xbox for a good 4 hours, and my throat is sore from yelling. i love days like that, when their parents aren't home and suddenly everyone can yell everything out.
then they put on an "adult movie", and a minute later my mom called, and then of course instead of pausing it, they turn it up so that you can hear it through the whole house. it was his dad's movie, and some of it was real messed up. very funny to watch in fast forward. |
Maybe she's gay too.
Fuck I hope so! She is so unbelievably hot it's not even funny. She's been dancing since she was 5, and she teaches classes every day after she gets done at school, so her body is PERFECT. She's got these amazingly round, pert tits and her ass is just so firm and supple. And her arms and legs are toned and I she's got the most adorable belly button and GUH. The way she talks is so cute, too. She uses the word 'flexible' a lot, but she seems to have trouble with the 'fl' part, so it comes out 'fucksable' and I just want to kiss her every time she says it. Man. She's married, though. To a douche bag. |
my mate is the laziest tuner in the world. he has 4 guitars, all in different tunings, off the top of my head:
e standard drop d c standard drop b :S |

Ha haha thats the worst
Drop D is ok sometimes alot of classical pieces use drop D, but other then that like 2 steps down and all that crap... That just sucks sounds like MUD. |
Jim, I have two things two ask you if you dont mind.
1) I wrote review and it got deleted but I dont know why. 2) Could I have a name change please, I posted in the proper thread in the Site section as well. Cheers |

Can still get a crisp distortion sound out of it. Also some compound chords (I think that is there name, where the Root note differs from the bass note) Are easier in Drop D.
who would win in a fight between Chuck Norris and Mr. T?
That is like comparing The Devil and a kitten. |
^ lol. Mr T the large gold laden kitten
|
my nipples are REALLY hard today...
do ya reckon i could hacksaw a cheap stock cymbal? im trying to make an 8" splash out of it, and the lathing is a spiral, so at some point i have to cross the lathing. hacksaw or any other ideas? for the rest, pliers rip it along the lathing easily... |
I should say so. If its anything like my stock cymbals were (other than my solar which, give em credit, are durable lol) try ripping it with your hands.
|
Mr. T was a bad mamajama...
...me and him is smokin some kind right now. got me some fresh bubonic chronic |
T was a professional bouncer before he got into acting, I wouldnt want to pick a fight with him in that time.

Serious as a heartattack. I owe money and my method of getting it back just fell through.
|
That sucks man, how much do you owe?
|
!!badassness!!
so our spring jazz concert is coming up at the University of Tennessee. so we're playing a three song set that includes: El Matador Moments Notice Seven Steps to Heaven you may not know these tunes, but they are usually level 3-4 tunes. and Seven Steps to Heaven is almost a drum feature. anyway, so on the last song we go through the standard intro/head/chorus structure for 3 solos. Then the last time through, I'm gonna open up the solo with a drum solo... trading 8's through out 4 choruses... slowly building some tension... then I get 16 bars to totally let loose and close it all out, then a manual fade on the classic vamp. It's gonna be so bad-*** |

Oshi. Credit card? Loan? Fall over in a company's hall, claim it was a wet floor, and get 100% of your compensation, courtesy of lawyers4u? |
^^^ 123 to that.
But really, how much money do you owe phil? You selling most of your kit? Post what you have for sale. I might want to buy some stuff. |
It doesnt matter now, me dads bailin me out this once and i can pay him back in a few years when ive got a steady job. Its about £350 or so :-/ But me mum was gonna get rid of the whole kit to teach me a hard learned lesson.
|
Thats good your dads doing that.Becasue that would suck if your kit got sold.
|
Big time. Especially since i worked my skin to the bone for that thing. Cost me about around £2k all together over the years.
|
thank god for that...
|
Indeed. Im lookin into taking a course in business management so i can open my own drum store. What do you guys reckon to that?
Ive learnt a lot from you guys and i think its time i helped others but im naturally a terrible teacher. So with the stuff ive learnt from here i reckon i could open up a fairly succesful store and sell what i know to be good quality and at a good price. I would of course have to sell some of the lesser quality crap like z customs, but thats simply supply and demand. I'd be concentrating more on the underrated lines of cymbals and drums :) |
Do it. I'd buy stuff from ya
