Frank Zappa- Civilization Phaze III

You shouldn't be allowed to listen to this without a good stereo.

sgrevs 02-16-2008 07:26 PM

Caribou - Andorra
so good.

Boilermaker 02-16-2008 08:01 PM

Sonic Youth - Bad Moon Rising

YDload 02-16-2008 08:04 PM

pretty cool album but it took me a while to get into cause its SOOOOOO weird. probably the creepiest thing they've ever done (unless other albums from that same time are freakier, but its hard to imagine)

A Dead Modernist 02-16-2008 11:05 PM

I started listening to The Knife - Silent Shout and turned it off 3 songs in because it was quite possibly the most boring thing i've ever heard. So now am listening Owen - At Home With. This album is really good, I don't care what anyone says.

pulseczar 02-16-2008 11:08 PM

Army of the Pharaohs - The Torture Papers

kind of like Jedi Mind Tricks with more rappers, but less Vinnie Paz plus more Apathy, Celph Titled and Esoteric is a very good thing.

YourBiggestFan 02-17-2008 12:15 AM

Porcelain by Moby is a great song.

Yea, the first time I ever listened to it was on my iPod on a very dark airplane. I'm already not too fond of flying, but listening to that album and flying really freaked me out.

Zebra 02-17-2008 12:33 AM

Swans - White Light from the Mouth of Infinity

Some of these songs run a little too long, but this is such a great album.

Anxious 02-17-2008 12:43 AM

Whenever I listen to Swans I think "What kind of human being would create something like this?".

Michael Gira is a dick bitch.

Anxious 02-17-2008 01:12 AM

The Durutti Column - Lips That Would Kiss

Elim, Bukowski, check this band out.

Zmev 02-17-2008 03:53 AM

Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You

Yeah I'm the last person on Earth to listen to this. Pretty good so far.

But without the enemy of all mankind. The production isn't anyway near anything JMT made.

I ordered that on Amazon the other day, hopefully I can hear it soon.

Quality album. ++

Anxious 02-17-2008 02:50 PM

The Get Out My Stations ep is a good complement to that album. I just tack in on the end of my playlist after Bee Thousand.

Robert Crumb 02-17-2008 02:57 PM

I need to fill in a lot of gaps in my GBV listenin

Interstate 02-17-2008 03:03 PM

I've only heard Bee Thousand & Half Smiles Of The Decomposed. Bee Thousand was my favourite by far. Any recommendations for other GBV albums worth getting?
