Seriously, just gonna take some time to talk about how ridiculously good Whisteria Cottage's album is. So many good Gothenburg type riffs, awesome tech death segments, and some of the best vocals I've heard in DM in a while. Dude's highs are so pterodactyl-y and his lows are so gurgly.

i thought the same on first listen too, but i must have listened to the album something like 15 times before i reviewed it, and it just unfolded for me.

Ignivomous is the style of DM that I enjoy a lot so idc if it's monotonous or not

The Chasm's newest has definitely grown on me, didn't find much special about it at first, but I like it more and more.
