the damn hot water is out in my piece of **** dorm again. cold showers blow. this is the second time this school year. last time it took six days to get the hot water back up.

yeah and the bad thing is you never get used to them. i figured i would be able to take a quick one without going into shock after the first few times, but after six days of it it never got easier.

well i managed to make my friend angry by telling her that christmas is a big waste of money, and a stupid tradition, etc. she spent $500 of her "savings" (money she specifically put away for car payments) on presents and now she's complaining that she has no money.

I got a $300 digital camera for christmas back in '00 (probably worth like $20 new nowadays)

i spent a total of $20, in a "secret santa" thing that the girl i already talked about came up with. if it wasn't for that, i wouldn't have spent a penny.

and i asked for an mp3 player, since i was about to buy one back in november once i got some money, and my parents told me to wait, and that they'd buy it for me. i felt guilty about it, but hey, who can refuse a free mp3 player. so if you can even call that asking for one, that's all i asked for.

Yeah I don't like asking for anything either, i've gotten enough over the years living at home being fed, taken care of ect ect... They never have to buy me a thing and i'd be happy :cool:

I.. did nothing today. I am wearing a suit to my basketball game tonight though..

I practiced with a new bassist tonight.....he actually does more than root notes (like our last bassist)

We got a new bassist, hopefully he can practice with us thursday.

It's easy to get caught in that too, most starting or nonproficient guitarists start and end with root notes for everything.

Thats why it helps to know a little theory and know the notes your playing, you don't have to be slave to those types of things.
