Charge should be dropped if the police didn't read you your rights, or they would in this country at least.

With regards to the burgalry (I'm going on UK laws here btw but I can't see them being too dissimiliar, in this country you can't actually burgle a car tho) if the court can adequately prove that you either trespassed with the intent to steal or commit criminal damage, or whilst trespassing you actually stole or attempted to steal then you'll be guilty. If not then you might be ok. Might get lessened to some other offence like breaking and entering.

As for the proving burglary thing, they really don't have any evidence that I did anything other than a guy saying that he saw me do it.
