i've listened to haust's newest release but wasn't a huge fan of it

just checked out Okkult's buddy band Drugged SS. these guys are pretty crazy. here's what the band has to say about the label that distributes their latest tape:

their music is cool but they are pretty lame, I guess. I mean they obviously have digital copies of the songs. where did they get the songs for the MySpace player from? du-uh.

I asked them about putting their album up on my blog ages ago. guess what their response was, haha.

and I really don't think they are Okkultokrati's buddies, because Ormeyngel are Okkultokrati/run by Okkultokrati afaik, so... LOL.

for the record, Okkultokrati refused me to put their stuff on my blog as well. and Haust's label refused me putting their stuff on the blog. (Vebjørn from Haust was all cool about it though... and I have one of his other bands on the blog.)

Drugged SS and Okkultokrati are both very good bands, and the people in them are probably nice. but it seems as if some of them have a bit pretentious attitudes, and the whole "too cool for the internet"-thing is just ridiculous.

I mean I really like them, they are a mix of crust, grind, black metal and strangely ska yet it all seems to go really well together. Their ska sections aren't all happy go lucky so it really fits with the rest of the music.

Helheim's first album is pretty sweet. Sounds like old Enslaved.

Now that you mention Enslaved, I have to give the new one a listen. I've only heard good things about it.
