I believe it's Rainbow House. Might not be though.
You were close. The band was bleak house and song rainbow warrior. Blabbermouth has it and mp3 here. http://www.roadrun.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=29709 The intro riff does sound very similar. The vocals in that band sound like green day. lol. |
Almost right

I wouldn't be suprised if Metallica did steal it. Being as though they where big NWOBHM fans. |
Yeh, they've admitted to stealing the Sanitarium riff, but refused to say where from.
:smash: |
Ehh, who cares really. So they used another song for inspiration and elaborated on it, big deal. Cant be COMPLETELY original all the time.
|
TBH, I don't care. Its just something they took and put to better use.
:smash: |

Yea i dont care either. Sanitarium kicks ***, so thank god they made it. |
drink Coke ya gay bastard :p
weather or not they stole a riff the song still kicks *** |
Yeah but they should've mentioned it before.
|
it doesn't matter...they ar emore famous from ripping of 1 riff then that other band will ever be
|
The arpeggio on Call Of The Ktulu is stolen from The Shining by Black Sabbath. But yeah, who cares? As long as they put it to good use.
|
Sabbath has stolen many things from Hendrix :p
|
Sabbath has stolen many things from Hendrix :p
What are some songs? Because I cannot think of any Black Sabbath songs that sound like Hendrix. |
Sabbath has stolen many things from Hendrix :p
That arpeggio? |
That arpeggio?
no but I have heard many simplar riffs from Sabbath's music that was like Hendrix's. I'm unsure of what off hand since I rarely listen to either band now but I'm 100% sure that they have |

You either remember the songs they played when you saw them. Or actually, there is a site that has a list of all the songs at all the shows they played during their Madly In Anger With The World tour. Here's the set list from when I saw them: Blackened Fuel Harvester Of Sorrow No Leaf Clover Frantic Turn the Page Holier Than Thou I Disappear Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Sad But True Battery Wherever I May Roam Nothing Else Matters Master Of Puppets One Enter Sandman Last Caress/Green Hell Seek and Destroy Here's the site: http://www.livemetallica.com/stash.asp |

Anyone on here ever go to the S&M show? I doubt it, but hey, anyone wanna brag about cool 'Tallica shows and what happened?
|
I've been to 13 Metallica shows sense 1994 and my all time favorite was in 1998. 4 hours with 2 encores. everyone had there own 15 minute period for solos (even James) and James and Lars had a drum battle, James did guitar solos first then Kirk comes out to batle him and he wins thin it lead into him solo'in for 15 minutes. after that the did Battery only 2-3 times faster then Jason came out to solo for 15 minutes and the show went on
|

(playing Smoke On The Water intro) Hetfield: Bet you guys didn't know we wrote that. Disc 3 is the best, i'm such a foo' for listening to it earlier. |
I like on Disc 2 (I think) where James is like "Now that I'm drunk and I got this guy drunk for free"
Disc 1 and DVD 1 is my favorite |
Man, these guys are so much better live. I really need to go see them when they come to Aus.
