Speeding up music is the wierdest thing I've heard in a while. Doesn't it mess up the pitch of everything?

I sometimes slow songs down when learning them, as it's a rather good tool, but I can't stand how badly some songs sound with an augmented pitch.

I listen to music to entertain myself. If it sounds better, then hell yes I'll speed it up. But I won't give a band much credit if the only way I find them enjoyable is at an altered speed.

Not really... especially not at 1.4X.

I just click the "1.4X speed" button in WMP.

That's why I can't really get into Tool, I like the music, but The vocals do nothing for me, really.

Wow. At the Drive-In are one band that shouldn't be sped up.

300Mhz sounds like crap when sped up. :p

Try listening to 46&2 at 1.4X, it sounds great. Other recommended Tool songs at 1.4X: Eulogy, Lateralus, Parabola.

I actually wanted to do a cover of 46&2 at 1.4X with my old band but unfortunately we broke up not long after.

Well, i want to go mainly because of my obsessions with the culture, but i want to check out the war memorials and shrines on the outskirts of Tokyo too. I also want to eat at a classic Ramen house, and amaze the Japanese by showing them how much more than them i can drink.

I also want to visit some of the shops and arcades, their crazy.

Also i thought of the best idea ever.

So, you know how the Metalcore kids dance like ninja's with all the spin kicks and stuff? I say we go into an As I Lay Dying concert dressed as full ninja's with swords and everything, and actually start ninja fighting.

I think that would be great.

SO I let my friend use my iPod for [B]15 minutes[/B] and then afterwards he somehow ****ed it up, so I had to [B]reset[/B] it, and now I'm putting all my songs on it again.
