oh mannn. k so my family has this tradition of giving good gifts in the boxes of crappy gifts, like a pearl necklace inside the package of a blender or something..

so today i got a few bday gifts and the very last one, my mom was like ya save that one for last so i open it and its a coffee maker box, like one of those old steel ones from italy. So i was like haha, gonna try to pull this one on me again, are you?


my mom goes: "what? no, it's actually a coffemaker"..... it was actually a coffemaker

its not that i dont like it at all, i just felt (and admittedly, acted) like the biggest prick for assuming it was a gag box.

I've been telling people thats gonna be like "Dreamcatcher" where the trailer makes it seem awesome but its really horrible once they reveal whats going on.

Cloverfield was the least surprising movie in history. I could have had predicted it to the minute. It was alright and the camera perspective was unique, but beyond that nothing was worth mentioning.

The monster was meh, the characters were kinda lame and they had a tendency to make incredibly stupid decisions.

But a woman was exploded and another de-impaled, so it was ok I guess.
