I find it comforting in an off-putting way. Really love it, especially the scruffy vocals. These are my favorites currently.

vashti bunyan - lookaftering--very pretty even if it's nothing hugely engaging; the first two tracks are so excellent
converge - jane doe--i really like this but i can't really listen past the first four tracks for whatever reason :( fires were shot - solace--duh joanna newsom - ys--some great stuff here, but it's far from perfect or a classic or whatever. for no real reason that i can find other than i just don't like it enough. tracks 1, 3 and 5 rule however. |
