it's pretty much The Land of Rape & Honey pt. 2.
Psalm 69 is a classic. I haven't listened to anything past Filth Pig but it was solid.
i think psalm 69 is their best album |
I like The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste the most.
|
got Maurizio Bianchi's The Bowls of Anger in the mail today, I initially thought there was nothing in the package but it was just in a flimsy paper sleeve wrapped in plastic which is 1 of only 200 copies apparently.
same with YNOHPMYS (in a digipack though), I now have two copies out of 400 cause the first was broken when I received it and they sent me one for free without even demanding evidence :p i'm expecting the music itself to probably be **** |
Finally giving the Ben Frost catalogue a listen now, really great stuff. Also, been putting off getting tht Mind Is a Terrible Thing To Taste for months now-will have to pick that up soon.
|
I still need to get Frost's Steel Wound
i've been listening to a lot of Brian Eno, dude puts me to sleep (which is a good thing) |
Yeah, Steel wound is next, I'm thinking bout getting into some of eno's work, where do you think is the best place to start?, I was thinking another green world but wanst sure
|
Another Green World is my favourite so far, his earlier stuff is more Bowie-esque glam/progressive rock.
Music For Airports seems to be popular, I haven't listened to it yet though. |
Cool I'll check it out...Also in the mood for alot of late 80's early 90's industrial for some reason, chemlab,my life with the thrill kill kult, prick, RevCo, any ministry side project (or anything off of WaxTrax), the list goes on...
|
I need more TKK, Sexplosion! has gotten way too many plays.
check out Die Warzau's Disco Rigido, i've been heiling that a lot recently |
I'm going to make a song entirely out of this:

Will do, Im only vaguely familiar with them probably because chris vrenna played with them for a while, but I never actually heard them
|
Halo Manash's SYoMA still has to be the best dark ambient album i've heard
|
Yeah, I'm getting convinced Halo Manash are the best dark ambient project ever. Their whole discography is perfect. I own three of their albums and they came with the best packaging I've ever seen.
|
have you heard Maeror Tri before Mike?
|
I've heard the name but I never got around checking them out. Are they any good? If so, where should I start?
|
I enjoyed Hypnotikum I quite a bit, check that out.
They have a huge discography. |
Will do.
Btw, where have I seen your avatar before? |
it's Spice 1
|
Got both Disco and Engine and they're both pretty good, thanks for the rec

This. Their DVD is pretty cool too. Anyone into Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio? Video is krieg and has an amazing song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxAY67fHJFc |

I actually managed to put a Manash song on my friend's ipod right in the middle of his party mix. Last party it came on a few hours in and everyone was like da' fukkk
I then observed the herd from my dark corner...their faces contorted in confusion as the superior tribal hymns fell on deaf ears -_- |
I had a party last weekend and the playlist went:
Anamaguchi - something all bleepy and shi idk Crystal Castles Remix of Bloc Party - Hunting For Witches Pink and Yellow - Ethnic Metalcore Dillinger Escape Plan - I Wouldn't If You Didn't Burial - Archangel Have A Nice Life - Hunter Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill DEP was lol |

Early prodigy - SL2 - On A Ragga Tip Acen - Trip II The Moon Shut Up And Dance - Dance Before The Police Come! Not too sure about later Prodigy but I remember Pitchshifter having some similarities and the guy played guitar on Fat of The Land. |
Dude, you should check out Zaraza - No Paradise to Lose.
I think you'd dig it. |
