nicatterberry 07-15-2006 06:33 PM
I need some of those aswell. :chug:
I really need to get my basses off the ground to free some space.

tim_commerfordism 07-15-2006 06:34 PM

It's sick!
I prefer the one with the 'scratches' on the back.

Actually that's an understatement.

funkyhoney 07-15-2006 06:34 PM
sounds cool. did you girlfriend play acoustic violin previously?
yeah, for 8 years
but electric is so much more awesome, i'm buying her a distortion pedal for her birthday :smash:
REJOICE! REJOICE A NOBLE BIRTH!
A PRINCE IS BORN!

That album is amazing. I love the "wade in the water" part, too. They're just so incredible. It's beyond me. I can't wait to see them live. I don't know when I am, yet, but I will! :D

SOTUG was here like...yesterday, I think. I wouldn't drop money on it. I think Thursday was the only good band on the roster but I'm not sure.

-Gav
:D I don't know why but the line "I propose a toast, a final prayer!" sticks in my head!

I'm listening to the album now :) Just onto Interview At the Ruins. I love how the album flows so well and the songs go into eachother..

I think me you and doug should fly somewhere to see them! Wouldn't that be grand!

Is it just me but does tonight on MX feel weirdly good.. Quite alot like old times! There's great conversation going on in the casual with old and new people, and a really good friend with everyone reminiscing (i cant spell that word!) on old times and when the forum was that good all the time!!

And Rich is here now! How you doing mate? :)

tim_commerfordism 07-15-2006 06:34 PM
I really need to get my basses off the ground to free some space.
Exactly me too. I live in a bungalow :naughty:
My bedroom is tiny. It shakes when I play bass.

That one around the crotch must have been a pain, literally, to remove.

Worrpigs 07-15-2006 06:35 PM

is that the new violin? if so its really pretty, i like the sunburst. and is it flamed maple by any chance?

All their lyrics own.

I love how it flows, too.

"A murmer from the ruins echo softly as the roots undo...and the branch becomes..."

We should do that, really. It would be an awesome idea. It seems like something that wouldn't happen anytime soon, though. If it did happen, Doug and I live relatively close (he's like an hour drive from me), so you'd have to come to Boston to see them, which is like a $2k plane ticket. :(

I'm good thanks.
You?

Yeah I know what you mean about MX being good tonight. I'm getting new gear soon. Muahahaha.

And the locking ones look even better. I can just see my basses falling down from the wall and smacking the random hard things around my room.
And the locking ones look even better. I can just see my basses falling down from the wall and smacking the random hard things around my room.
Yeah, that's the only problem. I guess if you have good thick walls you are sorted. Make sure the walls aren't wooden or plaster

Jamie 07-15-2006 06:39 PM
What's everyones opinion on these?

I need some wallhangers, and I've seen these used in a lot of music stores.
They're great!! I swear by them :) They're worth the extra few pounds (or dollars in your case). Good strong padding to protect the neck, they swivel to fit any shape headstock, it's impossible for them to fall out of and they're really reliable!

I have 4 of them in my room :D

That polar bear attack picture is... well, I feel really sick...

trumpeter 07-15-2006 06:39 PM

Wow, I aree with Jamie, this is some awesome MX, just wish we had Kibuddy and some others, like FatBandit.

nicatterberry 07-15-2006 06:40 PM

trumpeter 07-15-2006 06:40 PM
