I'd have to agree, other than the Exploited patch. And Nick gets bonus points for not replacing his collar with leapord skin like everybody else.
Me + leapard skin = faggot

As I said, I wanted to put my clan's tartan somewhere, but the fabric is really expensive, so that throws that idea out the window.

I thought i was being original by doing that too. :upset: Damn

TheNowhereman42 05-31-2005 10:30 PM

Meh, if you think it looks good, then go for it anyway. I'm sure I'm not the first person to paint a peace sign on a camo jacket, technically I'm just ripping off hippies.

Rise Me Up 05-31-2005 10:32 PM

Nah,man I was joking,I knew it wasn't original-but I liked it anyway.

Anarcho Poser 05-31-2005 10:35 PM

I've been wanting to cut the sleeves off a jacket, but make some sort of apparatus (zippers, maybe) to re-connect them in cold weather. That would be hella sweet, methinks.

TheNowhereman42 05-31-2005 10:53 PM

They have pants that can zip off into shorts, maby you could modify a pair into sleeves.

They do pants with two zippers two, that can cut off into capri's/long shorts, as well as just shorts.
pins?
Drafty.

And I think it'd be easier just to sew on zippers than mod pants into sleeves, specially since I don't own any of those fancy pant-shorts.

What does drafty mean?

Anarcho Poser 05-31-2005 11:09 PM

Rise Me Up 05-31-2005 11:09 PM

Ok, ill try this here. Do you know of any good custom pin makers online? My band is looking to make pins. One company added us on myspace but I'd like to look at my options. The key is we need them cheap but with decent quality.

Edit: Custom pin makers as in companies that make the pins for you.

how do you bleach hair?

i tried just putting bleach on it and after a half hour the temporary hair dye i have in didnt even change colors

oitotheworld 06-03-2005 06:34 PM

Back on the topic of patchmaking, would permanant marker or sharpie work? I haven't been able to get to a fabric store to get fabric paint so i'm trying to come up with alternitives.

If you don't wash them, it will be fine. They will only fade.

In other news, I recived my awesome Clockwork Orange backpatch in the mail along with my 2-tone and Against Me! buttons. Backpatch is going on probably next weekend when my mom has time to sew, since I'm not handsewing that bitch.

Ah, I just noticed the edit.

I have no idea about companies that will make the buttons for you, but I've got a button maker, and it's really easy to use. I got mine from www.badge-a-minit.com

Even if there was one it would probably be really cheap. It does sound familiar, though.

I love my pin maker. I get custom pins for myself that I would never find in a store, plus I sell them.

It's sad that my only source of income right now is selling pins/tie-dye.

Jessizzle 06-04-2005 10:39 AM

There was a pin maker at this School fair i went to on thurday, i had alot of fun with that.
And i remember the Barbie lip gloss maker... now that was a good time..

Anarcho Poser 06-05-2005 10:25 AM

I should get ne one of those pin-maker apparatuses.

Okay, it's time for you DIYers to help me out with something. This is really important.

So my brother's friend brought over a box of 1,000 of those little cocktail swords:
http://www.cookingsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/fp_no_lg_kc_kcbcsword.jpg
and, since I don't own a bar, I can't really decide what to do with them. So if you were in my situation, what would you do?

Have miniture pirate duels

Biscuit_box 06-05-2005 07:54 PM

Go on a midget punk killing spree....
You could make a wall art with them.. would take alot of time but would look like such a waste of time when done... that would be wasting time DIY style

problem solved.
Have miniture pirate duels
That was done as soon as the box was open. Some swords were broken, some lives were lost, but it was totally worth it.

Haha, I used to do that.
