What does [I]Low[/I] sound like?

Orgasmic. Really great harmonies. They are a very chill band.

Low are great. One of those Sadcore bands. Awesomeness.

Low are sweet. They did a cool release with the Dirty Three.

I'm going to see some bands play tonight at a battle of the bands thing. I'm convinced they will suck but my friend tells me one of them are good so we'll see.

Wilco are on my campus right now. Two friends, one of which is a bandmate of mine, are working hospitality before the show tonight. I wonder if I should go hang out with Wilco for a few hours. What do you think?

What a ri-d[size=2]a[/size]mn-diculous day. I didn't to hang out with Wilco, but I did get to watch their 2.5 HOUR SET WITH TWO ENCORES from very close. They rocked the proverbial and literal houses.

Yay, I get to see Eagles of Death Metal tomorow and !!! in a few weeks.

Today was the 10th Annual Northern Michigan University Jazz Festival. Entire day of clinics and performances, including my high school's jazz band. We performed pretty well, and I got the "Individual Musicianship" award for my school. My favorite part of the day was probably the free jazz clinic, where I played with 7 other people, including a great trumpet player from Minneapolis. The highlight of that highlight was me setting up a motif in the free improvisation, and that trumpeter picking up on it and playing it himself. It was a great day.

That's great. I think my jazz band's concert is tomorrow. I can't believe I don't really know for sure :(

Anyway none of us are really that great but at least I get to play Green Onions :cool:

In other news, Perks Of Being A Wallflower is an amazing book.

I just did an enormous walk that was over 30kms. I can't walk.

As I was walking home (well friends boat) drunk the other night I was making up all this bitchin' raps in the style of Mike Skinner. It was all about birds and lager and curry.

I'm doing the Sun Run this Sunday. For those not in the know, my local newspaper, The Vancouver Sun holds a big benefit run every April for cancer or what have you and you run around Vancouver while people cheer you on.

Second Spring Weekend concert today, Common, Yerba Buena and Edan. I'm all out of trees, which is a problem.

Go see Edan! He is from my area.
