Autechre - ep7
I've only heard Amber and it's fantastic. How does their other stuff compare to it?

PECOAE 04-24-2007 03:13 PM

I've been listening to a lot lately.

Mostly:
LCD Sound System - Sound of Silver
Menomena - Friend and Foe
Annuals - Be He Me
Kings of Leon - Because of the Times

Everything else I've downloaded/bought the last few days:
Bloc Party - A Weekend In The City
Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly, Angry Mob
Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
Klaxons - Myths of the Near Future
Panda Bear - Person Pitch
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
Air - Pocket Symphony
Lily Allen - Alright, Still
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! - Some Loud Thunder

Neoteric 04-24-2007 03:20 PM

So you're one of these new indie phags?

Zmev 04-24-2007 03:23 PM

Air is great.

Everything else is take it or leave it.

Mostly leave it.
I've only heard Amber and it's fantastic. How does their other stuff compare to it?
Amber is one of his most subdued records. The rest are more glitchy and all over the place. I'd recommend Tri Repetae+++ next or even that EP I posted (hardly an EP though, over an hour long).

Tub Ring - Drake Equation

The Great Decay 04-24-2007 07:15 PM

For some reason the recent nice weather has me utilizing the "shuffle" function on iTunes daily.

Bukowski 04-24-2007 07:34 PM

Times New Viking - Present the Paisley Reich

This has some really killer songs. I think it might be better if the production was slightly cleaner, without taking away that gritty garage sound. But I'm really diggin' this just now.

YDload 04-24-2007 08:20 PM

i think my favorite part of the Scratch Acid compilation is the first eight songs, which corresponds to their first EP. so i guess that would make it their best record, but luckily i didnt have to choose :)

perriwinkle 04-24-2007 08:22 PM
