think I might like this in some ways more than Death Of A Dead Day, if only for the vocals.

last.fm has been recommending me sikth for as long as i've had one and i still haven't checked them out. what's a good album to start with?

Death of a Dead Day is less weird than The Trees... so I would suggest trying that.

if you like it you should check out Seigneur Voland, lots of tremolo, tinny production, and that weird sense of melody in the riffs
