I'm beginning to wonder why bands like Chapterhouse, The Lilys, and The Pale Saints get hardly any recognition considering how everybody in alt/indie loves My Bloody Valentine.

well it took them one year (Lilys) to turn from My Bloody Valentine to Pavement, so maybe that's why

then they became the Kinks, then weird art-rock then Echo and the Bunnymen
