Hmm...
Maybe a Commando 80? If it's new-ish, that's probably it...
Thats it! Is it good. It doesn't have normal eq (bass, mid, treble, etc)

PaulSimonon 11-26-2004 05:52 PM

I saw JOhn Mellencamp's bassist using a Lakland Skyline 5... they have a J/MM configuration right?

coddingtown 11-26-2004 05:52 PM
Sorry, i dont *coughbrassmonkeycough* take either.
Meh... Tums are awesome. I feel good today so say it all you want. I already stabbed you to death three times, one of which you dont even know about.

I actually could use a decent practise amp though. all I have is a huge *** Ampeg combo thats a bitch to haul around. Once I find a trustworthy drummer I am dropping it at his/her house.

Spaceman Spiff 11-26-2004 05:53 PM

does anyone like the band 'Ohm'?
they're this fusion band, just guitar, drums, and bass, i don't know who the bassist or drummer are, but the guitarist is Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth), and i don't know his name, but the bassist plays a 6 string fretless of some sort.
go to http://www.chrispoland.com and go to the Ohm section and check them out, some great musicians.

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-26-2004 05:53 PM

Yeah, when was the third time?

I like the Commando 100 at my local store. A really warm tone. They want 450 for it though, and I can get better stuff.... I don't know what yet...

neal_672 11-26-2004 05:54 PM

I'm the opposite, i have a nice practice amp, but need a gigging amp, and quickly. I'm hoping to get the Laney HCM-160 by the end of the month due to it's incredibly cheap (especially for a half decent amp like this) price tag of £220 :thumb:

Mr. Jiggy Fly 11-26-2004 05:54 PM

Robby Paligari is bass.

coddingtown 11-26-2004 05:54 PM

Try frozen junior mints. They are gelatin based so they dont get hard, but they get harder
Nice and chewy. Thats the only way I like junior mints. At that I am going to shower
