Yea, you suck. |
Naw, Bruce just is amazing.

elabortate please? |
I voted Bruce, Berry was close though.
|
I just bought Live Dead on vinyl. It was 40 bucks though, which was way out of my relatively low price range...but that was the first time I saw it at the store, and I was worried someone else would buy it.
I am still deciding who I'll vote for, most likely Bruce. |

I like Berry more than Bruce because sometimes he can do a little too much. He still kicks ass, though. I like Berry's tone better, also. |
This was in a thread in Other Music. You must listen to this song.

I voted for Jack Bruce. He's ahead, as he should be.

Dude, it's vinyl.
|
Dude, it's vinyl.
Dude, so what? You have to get up half way through the album, and you can't play them in cars, on computers, or put them on mp3 players. Plus if you don't have a nice system they usually don't sound perfect. |
I voted Bruce, as well. :)
You just don't get it. :(
I'm afraid not. |
Okay, off topic, but it doesn't matter.
Today, on the ground, I found... Jack Kerouac - Satori in Paris Jack Kerouac - Pic Should be some good readin'. Not worth the anticipation? :upset: |
Vinyl does have is charming characteristics, but they just flat out lose quality over time. They sound great for awhile, then crap.
CDs are the way to go though. Since the masters were recorded on magnetic tape anyway, it still has that 'warm tape sound'. MP3s don't sound great on good sound systems though. |
A couple pages back I mentioned I got a new guitar (electric) but never told you guys what type, Schecter C-1 Plus. No comments from the peanut gallery. (Feel free not to like my choice, but do it nicely please.) While I'd ideally love to have an American Strat or Gibby LP, that's quite a bit over my price range.
How is this connected to Classic Rock? I'm larnin' Little Wing right now! Hehe, I love that song. (Doesn't everybody?) I think I'll go practice it a little bit more. Believe me, I could use the practice. |
I got John Lennon-Acoustic and The United States of America-s/t from the Alt. & Indie YSI thread.
|
A/I YSI thread owns.

There's nothing wrong with a little metal. Although a good percentage of it is crap ;)
|
There's a lot of talent and intelligence in metal, I just don't like it all that much.

Speaking of Metal and Gaypj, I just insulted his taste in another thread ;)

You'll all be sorry when I summon an evil spirit to devour your souls.

Me too. |
I'm not a big metal fan personally.
|
I love my Sabbath but thats as far as I go.
I like Maiden too!
That's how I am too. I love listening to Maiden, and especially Sabbath. I don't mind a lot of metal, but some of it I don't like. I did mushrooms last night, it was an insane night. My friend started tripping about twenty minutes or half an hour before me, so I was about to eat some more. As he handed me the bag, I just started tripping so hard I couldn't even hold the bag. I sat on a rock and for about twenty minutes I couldn't tell whether my eyes were open or closed (whether they were open or closed I was just seeing pure nonsense). It started raining really hard, and my friends came and drove us around. Apparently I said I was hungry, and someone gave me a handburger, which I squished up in my hands, and smeared all over my face and clothes (still not sure why). Once I came down a little (still tripping though) I reached my favourite point, where you just feel so damn excited about everything. We basically drove around for the rest of the night I found it hard to sit up in the back of the van, I kept trying to swim around. It was such a fun night, we went to a Tim Hortons and stayed there for an hour, I really had to go to the bathroom but I couldn't stop laughing everything I tried to pee because the bathroom honestly wouldn't stay still, everything was swirling and bubbling and everything kept moving around. There were a bunch of teenagers in there, and the only guy working was cool with me and my other friend (who was also tripping) just acting like complete goofs. There were some adults in there who just thought I was drunk, so they didn't care they just laughed at how messy I got from that darn hamburger. Awesome night. |
 Good story
Maiden, I hate Maiden. |
