lol too progressive

Stormrider 12-14-2009 01:23 AM

Skyless is the only song I've heard from the new stuff that I like.

That main riff live is crushing.

adb 12-14-2009 01:26 AM

Jupiter to Ignite tbqh

BLASPHEMYOGAPHER 12-14-2009 01:31 AM

hahahahha i just listened to cosmic migration and seriously laughed

is this a joke or do i just have the wrong band

chrisbarnesfacialbongscar 12-14-2009 01:33 AM

Seriously, band is ****ing terrible and definitely not death metal.

BLASPHEMYOGAPHER 12-14-2009 01:33 AM

yeah this is so lol that i have to keep listening

chrisbarnesfacialbongscar 12-14-2009 01:36 AM

My one friend had that Concealed album in his car for a while cause someone burned it for him. He'd always put it on for the lols until it got painful.

BLASPHEMYOGAPHER 12-14-2009 01:37 AM

what is with the drumming lol

chrisbarnesfacialbongscar 12-14-2009 01:38 AM

You just don't get it~

adb 12-14-2009 04:33 AM

I like how you listen to probably their worst song, Cosmic Migration is not good (understatement) aside from the catchy bass lick/tapping thing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_HM-Vp747A&feature=related

try that, probably not gonna like it

RetiredAt21 12-14-2009 08:49 AM

Pretty awful tbh.

Anthracks 12-14-2009 11:02 AM

Xplisit 12-14-2009 01:54 PM

hatin' on Canadian druggies who try to make unique death metal

Pete 12-14-2009 04:13 PM

what are some good new technical death metal albums? i want to buy my little bro something good for christmas. he's into stuff like behemoth and aeon and stuff.

thank you.

xkeyboardmoshx 12-14-2009 04:57 PM

2008 release, but maybe try The Vile Conception by Hour Of Penance.

Pete 12-14-2009 04:59 PM

i just want recent albums because they're generally easier to find, and christmas is kinda close so i daren't order anything that may or may not show up before.

i remember having that album on my comp before, will have to dl again.

Jaundice 12-14-2009 05:00 PM

you should probably ask adb

xkeyboardmoshx 12-14-2009 05:03 PM

Don't do that, ADB listens to bad music.

Jaundice 12-14-2009 05:03 PM

true but he's an expert in modern tech death and non-gay prog

xkeyboardmoshx 12-14-2009 05:04 PM

The prog metal he jocks is some of the most lolbad music I've ever heard.

Xplisit 12-14-2009 05:05 PM

then again you just talk mad cheese about prog in general

Stevie 12-14-2009 05:06 PM

metalheads dont celebrate christmas

Jaundice 12-14-2009 05:08 PM

I'd be boycotting Christmas this year if I didn't need a new pair of shoes so badly.

Stormrider 12-14-2009 05:56 PM

mappy has a hard on for brent

Hour of Penance is pretty lame imo don't get him that.

I would recommend him Iniquity- Grime (not really that tech but awesome) or maybe Nile sounds like the type of person that would like that

Your avatar was you in a Santa hat for a while.

EdgeOfSanity 12-14-2009 06:18 PM

Wow, I'm addicted to Blogspot records...just downloaded that Vomiturition album and Been Caught Buttering by Pungent Stench plus a couple of others.

xkeyboardmoshx 12-14-2009 06:23 PM

I really need to get Vomiturition.

Txus 12-14-2009 06:25 PM

get A Leftover mappy

so ****ing good

EdgeOfSanity 12-14-2009 06:31 PM

I'm listening to it now. I'm about half way through it. Pretty good.

I've been on a huge old school kick lately, and it doesn't help that almost every album cover is golden.

Txus 12-14-2009 06:38 PM

Yeah. Have you heard Morpheus Descends?

EdgeOfSanity 12-14-2009 06:48 PM

No sir.

Txus 12-14-2009 06:50 PM

Get Chronicles of the Shadowed Ones and Ritual of Infinity. Both of these are some of the finest death metal albums I've heard.

xkeyboardmoshx 12-14-2009 07:34 PM

Aight dude.

I just read a review by Fenriz about an album by a Norwegian DM band called Obliteration. It looks good, downloading right now.

Here is the review if anyone is interested:

"The abnormally credible labe; of the TIGER record shop in Oslo release this 2nd full length from the new heroes of KOLBOTN, Norway, and what can i say -
In 1989-1991 we worked on our two first albums (really "SOULSIDE JOURNEY" and "GOATLORD"), we worked and worked like crazy with rehearsals and songwriting, to create two fantastic epic dark death metal albums.

Well, Obliteration SUCCEEDED in what we in Darkthrone tried to do on our two first albums - they have here delivered a brand new old organic sounding death metal masterpiece, but it isn't only death, as these fantastic musicians like ALL the right bands from when they were born and BEYOND, from the 60s 'till 90's crust and 80s thrash and even a touch of sludge (remember DREAM DEATH?) and black - I present you the Norwegian album of the year - easily. People are going nuts all over the underground scene to NEKROPSALMS!!"

i was never really impressed with ritual but chronicles is awesome

Txus 12-14-2009 08:06 PM

I like Chronicles the most, but both are good.

Thanks for uploading the woods of desolation albums to your blog, berkay :)

rasputin 12-14-2009 08:09 PM

that's cool. i only had to upload one of the splits, i could find links for the others.

i wasnt able to get links for their two demo tapes (i haven't heard either of them) but i was in contact with one of the band's labels over the weekend buying some stuff and the guy said that there might be a repressing of their second demo, have to get that if they do.

Txus 12-14-2009 08:11 PM

Nice. I have high hopes for this, will listen tomorrow since I'm staying home sick.
