I guess Ulver has albums that sound like many different genres. I've heard some other stuff too, that was like techno.
Trip-hop. But yeah, they cover a lot of ground.

Hello everyone, by the way, and farewell Ramsey.

I'm going to whore off my poorly made Death Metal song.
Enjoy :'(

(keep in mind I don't have a line 6 so my recording quality sucks, also keep in mind I suck at timing)
The movie? lol.
They need to remake the movie.

xizoesira 02-17-2005 01:48 PM

That movie was the shit back in the day. As were the TMNT movies.

Cain 02-17-2005 01:49 PM
They need to remake the movie.
Yeah, the one they've got is kind of...bad. But I'm sure it's a fun movie to watch if your brain isn't in the mood for something on the level of "Hotel Rwanda."

Cain 02-17-2005 01:50 PM
He's talking about my avatar
Oic.

It is rather hypnotic, now that you mention it...

/can't take eyes off of Mario... :amaze:

This is true. The second one is superb.

/owns it on VHS.

-Obscurity- 02-17-2005 01:54 PM

The first batman movie pwns all. Jack Nicholson can't be beat as the Joker.

Bartender 02-17-2005 01:55 PM

That's some truth right there. The Mario Bros film is good, though. And I too have the second Turtles film on VHS (in America).

He speaks the truth!

Superheroes are awesome. One of my favorite parts about living in Chicago was walking to the local comic book store and buying the latest Spider-Man.

Where in America do you live again, Bartender?

EDIT: Good lord, I'm double posting all over this page. Sorry.

Bartender 02-17-2005 01:57 PM

Florida. Near to Ramsey, I believe.

I have a bunch of old 1980's-90's Spider-Man comics. Do you know if they hold much value?

There's probably some kind of pricing guide on the net somewhere. They'll hafta be in mint condition to be worth much though.

It depends. The direction Spider Man was going in though, especially the '90s, has been mostly officially trashed by Marvel(i.e. that whole clone business...remember when Ben Reilly(Peter Parker's "clone") was Spider Man for a while because Pete and MJ went to live in Portland? The Amazing Scarlet Spider comics? How stupid that was.) The 1980's stuff would be good...if Todd McFarlane (i.e. creator of Spawn) was still doing the artwork and they were in mint condition you could probably get some bucks.

Yeah, they are mostly all mint in bags. I even have one (ASM #33) that's from 1969. I have checked around for guides, but what a book says they are worth and what people are willing to pay are generally 2 different things.

munky_magik 02-17-2005 02:08 PM

I think guides willl give you a rough estimate of what to expect, but what you actually get depends on the buyers on the day.

Wow, #33...that's very impressive. I'm sure people will buy it for whatever price you could sell it from...maybe on ebay? I really don't know.

Yeah the 90's is pretty much when I got off the comic thing, everything just kind of went to crap. I do have some of the older Todd McFarlane's, The first 80 or so issues of Web of Spiderman, and basically most everything big from Marvel that came out around that time.

Ebay is a good idea, I will look into that.

Cain 02-17-2005 02:14 PM
Ebay is a good idea, I will look into that.
I figure if some people are stupid enough to pay thousands of dollars on Ebay for a piece of toast supposedly bearing the image of the Virgin Mary, somebody would be willing to by a genuine valuable such as Amazing Spider Man #33 from you for its listed value.
