It's not even that...
It's almost like they're trying too hard to be Tool. Like the intro is almost exactly like Schism it seems like. And then they have a ton of Perfect Circle moments throughout the song. It's not that I don't like APC, it's just that this is Tool, and the APC influence is kinda huge in some parts.

because Zomba streamed only 'Vicarious' for radio stations to download...everything else is still very well kept....although i did read that some people did in fact have the entire album already...probably a fake though.

Just listened to Vicarious, I really like it. I'm going to avoid getting any other leaks, and wait till the CDs in my hands before hearing the rest.

i liked it until i burned a copy and took it over to my friends house to crank it on his baddass stereo. now i love it! i think they raised the bar on their music. if you guys are listening to it on your puter do yourself a favor and listen to it on a real system. I've got a pretty decent CD player in my computer but i couldn't hear anything close to what is really going on with this song.

Like most songs, I didn't love it the first time listening to it, but after 3 or 4 listens it started to really sound great. Danny Carey does an awesome job and the end is fantastic.

Man, there are so many similarities between Schism and Vicarious...The guitars during the intro of Vicarious sound a lot like the guitar work during the ambient bridge of Schism..Then there's the hammered triplets(or..12-lets in the case of Vicarious :p) in the outro of both songs...That's all I can think of right now, but I'm beginning to think that they have a formula for creating their 'hit song' of the album. :-/

wouldnt it be funny if vicarious was just like a b-side they didnt like and so they made it leak now remember im just kidding
