When you say unwieghted, do you mean without factoring in your AP classes or something? I have a 3.6 right now, but I'm taking 2 AP classes this year. I think I have A's in both of them, so this would bring my wieghted grade up to a 4.0 or so, right?
Yeah, unweighted doesn't factor in APs and such. Weighted I had a 4.0 I think. Big difference :-\ Grades are overrated though. |
I find oxygen to be overrated these days aswell.
I dont have a clue what my GPA is. I also dont have any colleges in mind besides USM. I need to get on the ball |

Hell I dont even know what I want to major in. Bah!
|
I went to school in MA, so it was practically impossible for me to take the ACTs. I did well on my SATs though, so s'all good.
I applied to six colleges :-\ none of them were Ivy league schools or even private schools, I think. |
I think I'm leaning towards something involving writing, or something in the english area...I've actually been considering education as a career, but I'm still too young, and I don't want to teach. My mom only gets like 30k a year, and she works at least 12 hours a day, which sucks. :-/
|
I got into all the schools I applied to, including the Engineering school at Cornell :p
Teaching blows unless it's at the uni level, and even then a bit. |
There's also always working on our farm. I'd probably inherit it in 20 years, but ugh, I hate living out here.
Not an anime fan?
Well the actually movies I like better, like the Myazaki movies are pretty good. But the tv shows I can't stand. She's watching Inu Yasha. |
Is it just me, or has R&M been really slow as of late? :upset:
It makes me sad. I like it when it's like "zomg I cannot keep up" speed. :p Vince- Thanks for that. I started learning Nightmare Heaven with a GP4 tab. Are you into them, or do you just know where to look for tabs? |

I agree. The real, uncensored anime in original form can be great, but the crap they tone down for Cartoon Network is usually trash. I've seen a few good ones on TV though. |

Yea R&M is very slow lately. Combined with that and the loss of the YSI threads, there isn't much to do on MX anymore.
|

There's nothing wrong with it though. The originals were good, unique fun. It was when it got ridculous with all the card games and video games for every color known to man that I lost interest. The ones they geared for young kids are terrible. You need to see the devirginizing ones with enough violence and pointless nudity to keep one happy for weeks. |

Very slow. Friday night I actually did my homework at a reasonable time in the afternoon since there was nothing going on online. :(

Red version was my favorite.
|
I had the red one as well, and I think the yellow. I never understood what the advantage was by releasing 16,000 different colors of the same game. The card game put me over the top, because at the time I was a diehard Magic the Gathering player, and Pokemon basically ripped off the same concept and sold it to little kids.
I had a scouser last year. I wonder who I'll get for my
flatmates this year. I know at least three of my old ones have moved out (including the two I really liked). I almost want them all to be bastards, because then I'll have more time/reason to concentrate on my work (the amount of time I wasted last year doing nothing - watching DVDs, playing PS2, drinking, etc - with my old flatmates was ridiculous). Of course, the downside then is that I'm living with a bunch of bastards :-/ So I don't really know what I want.
Oh my, I just spent about three* hours comforting one of my flatmates after a drinking game. That is possibly an experience that I do not want to repeat. I'm considering stealing the Scouser just so I can be entertained by whatever she says. She also loves the Jordies accent so essentially I'm sorted  All I need now is a welsh and Irish person. On the whole; I think the cons of living with bastards far outweighs the cons. EDIT: Magicbus may be interested to know that there is actually a service called 'Magicbus'. *six |

I had the red and yellow ones too. I wasn't much of a magic player, but it was hysterical when i beat the guy who taught me how to play (I never told him I cheated) I think Pokemon did a great job, they made it so you couldn't get some of the pokemon without buying the other game, geniuses. |

I always loved to play all of my friends once Magic became a huge craze too, because by that time I had already been playing for years. Bastards! |
Pokemon was a fantastic RPG for its time. It was way intricate, and it did require a lot of brainpower, which is always a plus. However, I do agree that after Yellow, there was no need for any more. What was wrong with only 152 Pokemon, anyway? :(
Does anyone remember the "Missingno." cheat, where you could get 200 of whatever was sixth in your pack? It was where you had to talk to the old guy in Viridian City on how to catch a Pokemon, then you had to fly to the fire island and swim up and down the border, and that messed-up glitch Pokemon came out. It was at some obnoxious level, but its only move was Splash, which did jack shit. It also had a thousand hit points or something, but the weakest attack would kill it all the way. I did this trick for Rare Candies all the time, especially when I didn't feel like fighting all the time. |

Yes, I remember that. back when I used to play the game, I used that to cheat and get all my pokemon to level 100. Everyone in ym elementry school used that so everyone had pokemon at level 100. |
I actually bought one of those gameshark things when i was younger. I found it the other day when I found my gameboy except they don't have any of the gameshark cheats online anymore :( I can't believe I started playing that game again.
And yes, 152 was fine, in fact too many. I don't get the need for what, 600? |
I don't even have those games anymore. I gave them to my friend about four years ago.
|
Pokemon was so cool. I actually started a game and dominated it over this past summer.
|

I still have my old Gameboy Pocket and all the games for sentimental value. Pokemon may have gone down the unholy drain, but Killer Instinct was a classic. |

The games own, the show was just.... a children's show. |
I watched the TV show, yet somehow felt too mature to play the video games.
WTF? They are epic RPGs! |
I hate RPG games. I tried to get into Final Fantasy 7 and 8 but the fighting style just annoys me to no end.
|
The first few gameboy games rocked for Pokemon...after that it had the same fate as the card game did with the tons upon tons of crappy unoriginal pokemon.
And the card game ruled as well, until Wizards of the Coast sold it to some crappy company and they ruined it all. Then they had to make tons of new crappy unoriginal named and shaped Pokemon to keep it going, yet all they was make it suck more. Also the artists for the card pictures are lazy now, since they just take the pokemon toy's or something and place them in some crappy landscape and take a picture of it and slap it on the card. /memories |
