that's actually a legitimate fear. i stayed for the first 3/4 comics, the opener was some chick who was pretty bad but the other two were hilarious, especially this guy who went on before my friend. i used the piss intermission to leave because i was very uncomfortable.

oh god i invited a lot of my friends to my first open mic i did, i thought it would be a funny thing to do, but all it did was provide just enough sympathy laughs or whatever i got
