I like music.

ATM 04-12-2006 10:25 AM

I love music.

Kyle 04-12-2006 10:40 AM

So I just moved from my mums old house to my mums new house, and then back to my dads house so I can be near my school and friends which is incedently near to my mums old house. I don't really like being at my dads all that much, but he has a really fast PC so I'll just be spending lots of time on MX.
All my friends hate to be alone while driving. I love it.

I don't like to be alone for too long normally though.
I love driving alone in the car, I just whack my Ipod on and cruise.

I've got a 2-3hour drive to see my girlfriend tomorrow and I'm gonna put tons of new music on my ipod to listen to on the way up there

I have a 2-3 hour drive home from school tomorrow, and I will similarly have my iPod with me for the ride

Man that's along way to go to school! At least you get to listen to music on the way. There's nothing better than driving with the music up loud.

YDload 04-12-2006 02:08 PM

Indeed, my favorite songs to speed to would probably be "Honey Bucket" by Melvins or "Megalodon" by Mastodon. Something nice and thrashy.

And driving at night is even better because of the atmospheric music you can listen to. Television's "Marquee Moon" or bands like Minus the Bear and Trail of Dead are great for that time of day.

I listened to GY!BE driving home late one night from my friend's house at like 2am, I was genuinely scared.
I prefer listening to hip hop/light alternative stuff to drive in the day, it's fun to sing along to.

Built to Spill - Keep It Like A Secret
Can - Tago Mago
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire
Yes - The Yes Album
Wilco - Yankee hotel Foxtrot

All albums that I can enjoy alone but also satisfy my friends. Most of the time I use my iPod though.
I saw a scene girl at school today wearing an Unknown Pleasures shirt and not even realizing what it was. There's no point in recounting this story but yeah.
Silly kids.

el doctor 04-12-2006 02:43 PM

I've noticed a girl at my school doing the same thing, although there's a rainbow gradient running across the lines, which seems to contrast the album just a bit.

Zappa 04-12-2006 03:17 PM

It's a cool design.

asymm 04-12-2006 07:12 PM

well it is a cool design (mostly within the context of the group), but jesus,,, they had no idea? That pains me.

Robert Crumb 04-12-2006 09:05 PM

Maybe she's just a pulsar fanatic.

Zmev 04-13-2006 04:53 AM

So I may be going to Coachella after all.

That + Pearl Jam and Sonic Youth in the Summer + Lollapalooza = yay

Kyle 04-13-2006 05:02 AM

gahh, why doesn't England have good festivals this year! Well I'll see Pearl Jam at Reading if nothing else, and the Chilli Peppers might be pretty good when In see them in the summer.

pixiesfanyo 04-13-2006 05:19 AM

Kyle 04-13-2006 05:22 AM

Double time and half for working Good Friday tomorrow, hello $20 an hour.

Part-time jobs suck haha

Interstate 04-13-2006 02:33 PM

Man I've had the busiest day (and it doesn't stop until 2am which is the time I'm most likely to get home after picking my mum and sister up from the airport).

I think the only thing keeping me awake is good ol' Pro Plus.

PinkFreud 04-13-2006 03:34 PM

I get out of school in two weeks. I just thought everyone should know that.

Anxious 04-13-2006 03:58 PM
