a couple of the black twilight circle bands are p good
sort of feel gay for liking Liturgy as much as i do but W/E
didn't even know how pretentious the guys behind it were until recently. they wrote a book on black metal theory and how they are 'transcendent' black metal lol |
yeah arizmenda is probably the best of the black twilight circle, the other bands are decent but not really memorable

idk i enjoy the album, but i wasn't aware of all that hype and stuff
I'm not sure there is much hype outside of their own ridiculous claims.
oh, well i don't know if there was hype or not but what you said in your previous post made it seem like there was

agreed |
New Enslaved rulessssssssssssss
yeah i have a few of their albums, doesnt really do much for me these days
Imo this is by far their best; a perfect combo of their black metal days and their more progressive material.
listening to nacht for the millionth time, still love it. nacht i is one of my favorite black metal songs ever
yeah its amazing. down right evil
i love the ambient part and how it builds up to part with the guitars, and i love how right before the guitar part starts the keyboard stops and all you hear is wind and a wolfs howl, chilling yet soothing, and then CHAOS
EDIT: combat is mad underrated |
Im trying to find the remastered version of Inquisition - Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult
anyone help? i cant find it |
original version is fine
original version is fine
does anybody else like combat? northwind and aryan spirit of war are both very very good, and not just for nsbm, shit just rules
inquisition could be so fucking good, but i'm still not sold on the vocals.
i used to hate the vox but now i love them
looks like an interesting band...

Into the infernal regions of the ancient cult

Heiling some Aura Noir atm.
Not really black metal, but idk where else to post this:
Pacific Northwest dark metal legends AGALLOCH have completed work on their fourth full-length entitled “Marrow Of The Spirit”, the follow-up to 2006’s “Ashes Against The Grain”.
http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=27545777&blogId=539317278 |

gaaaayyyyy, mebbe get a fake id |
Simply can't imagine Agalloch releasing a shitty album anytime in at least the next 5 years or so. It'll be amazing, I just know it.
Glad I got to see Agalloch last year. It'll probably be a while before they return to Holland. |
they already released 3 i think the odds r against them

Idk, maybe a lot of clubs in Europe are very eager to book a band like Agalloch and clubs in the US don't realize how many people such an event would attract (eg. how much money they could be making).
I think they just aren't too keen on big tours, they all seem to have pretty busy professional and personal lives outside of the band
I know they've been to like, NYC and Florida a few times they must figure if they're going to touch any bases on the East Coast those are the ones to go to. |
pretty excited for new album def
Don says that they'll play anywhere as long as they get their flights and accommodations paid for, that's probably why they play overseas so much.
gonna dl ashes against the grain again and see if i still think its dumb
