But thats not the problem---the problem is the subject of [I]dating[/I]. I can just talk fine to a girl who likes this one band---but when it comes to asking them out, I have problems. Or when it comes to things like walking with them..well. I just can't.

And either way I don't think I can help. No matter how much advice I give, that can't possibly give you enough self-confidence to ask a girl out. In this case the problem is purely internal, and thusly should he solved internally.
