well i think the point of guinea pig 2 is the graphically beautiful violence and the craftsmanship of the gore effects. the first one is a cool experiment that everyone has thought about once or twice in their life. the other ones (particularly "he won't die" and "devil woman doctor") are just hilarious.

then again, i like that kind of "pointless" movies, like "niku daruma: tumbling doll of flesh" and "august underground"

not to say that i dont appreciate b-movie gore, like "last house on dead end street" and "blood sucking freaks" are two of my favourite movies

Motown 08-04-2008 07:24 PM

just watch troma movies

Pete 08-04-2008 07:25 PM
it's not like you apply to med school right out of high school

lo siento.

Well I was working at United Launch Alliance, a company that builds rockets. Now I'm working in a lab here on campus developing a webpage for biological research. So not really signals and systems too much, but that's ok. Interesting work all around.

Ew emag...well, glad someone likes it! :p But sounds like good stuff, when do you finish your degree?
In about two and a half years. :(

Okay, six hours without a single post is quite enough.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:05 AM

True,
/Sneaks in and posts in an effort to revive the thread.

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:08 AM

Well done, Petey.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:10 AM

w00t.
Thanks.

How are you doing today Bjorn?

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:12 AM

I'm doing pretty good, but the weather's not. Rain, rain, rain.

How're you?

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:15 AM

Doing pretty alright myself.
Even the weather is ok now.
Maybe that's a good excuse for me to leave the indoors and make myself useful outside.

Do you have anything plannend, or is the bad weather foiling your plans?

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:17 AM

I was thinking of going to the cinema and watch The Dark Knight. If my brother decides to wake up and call me, that is. Otherwise I'm probably going to stay indoors all day.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:19 AM

The Dark Knight is awesome.
I've seen it twice already, the first time was at the pre-premier, together with Batman Begins.
I love the sick twist Ledgder gave to the Joker.
Nicholson made the Joker what the Joker really is, a joker.
But Ledger, he turned itinto something sick and twisted.

I'm looking forward to Star Wars Animated; Clone Wars.
/Geek.

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:28 AM

I love Star Wars, but from what I've seen, the film doesn't seem to be all that good. Hopefully I'm wrong.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:30 AM

I think animation certainly does justice to Star Wars.
Well, and since I'm a Star Wars nerd, I'm slightly biased I guess.

Looking forward to it anyway and I think we had the low already, which was the Mummy III. Or maybe the new X Files, I've heard that's also terrible.

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:33 AM

I'll see the new Star Wars no matter the quality.

The new Mummy film looks terrible. It premieres here this Friday, I think. And I've never been a fan of X-Files, so I'll pass that one as well.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 06:35 AM

You can pass the new Mummy as well, trust me. :p

I just got a call from some friends, I'm going to the zoo for a few hours.
Take care and talk to you later. :)

Tyr 08-05-2008 06:37 AM

Alright. Have fun and pray to something that it won't start raining.
