It wasn't acapella, it was even better. It started with bass guitar and the two dudes whistling the bassline over some guitar noise and then he started singing. The after first verse Sitek busted out the most kickass beatboxing ever. Then the two dudes from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs came out and played percussion.

Sitek is amazing, he writes the coolest **** and his live playing is ill

yeah ive been trying to get into him for a while, my friend at school loves him. I have Mutations and Midnite Vultures and I was kind of eh on both for a while but now I'm really starting to dig both. beautiful songs on Mutations and MV is just fun

no but we had this ridiculously in depth process for finding a roommate.. i ended up just finding him on facebook. the new beck is tight. its real mellow, def a step up from the information. Its a little short though :( this and guero are probably my favourites of his

Kinda sucked. I couldn't stand the drums, too much **** going on. It should be more groove for the kind of music it is.

My new band played our first show yesterday, and the guy who booked us told us the day of that it was a festival celebrating the 100 year anniversary of a borough haha. We're like a grindcore band. We played a 30 minute set, including a cover of rather be dead, to a bunch of old people. We got booed at, yelled at, made fun of, for both our music and the fact that we wouldn't stop smoking. Then this indie band that was covering Dave Matthews band and John Mayer told us that we should come on stage and have a "breakdown" together lawlz.
