Tell me about it. In my spare time, I will read books on Religion and Spirituality, Music, Economics, History and I would love to earn degrees in all of them....not only the time, but the money as well.

I figure I'm going to get a Masters in Counseling and Therapy, work for a few years to pay off some school loans and then go back and get a PhD. in psychology. One day I would also like to obtain a Ph.D. in philosophy as well and write some books in both fields.

They are goals I suppose. I just hope I have the time, the determination and the money to achieve them.

I would be happy finishing with a masters in psychology in therapy/counseling. Part of why I like psychology, other than figuring out why people behave like they do, is that I like helping people with their problems. I always have and always will. So if I can achieve that, I will be happy, but the rest serves as motivation to keep on going both in a professional and personal matter. I believe that doing what you love will make you happy, but constantly attempting to better yourself in what makes you happy will give you purpose. Which is correlated to longer and happier lives.

It's a good thing to keep goals in your life.
And I like helping people too, I don't think I'd become happy from hearing their problems all day though.

It is not necessarily hearing the problems that make me happy. More like finding a possible solution to their problems is where I get my joy from. If I can successfully make a depressed person happy again or some suffering from anxiety less anxious, then that is what makes me happy.
