It's about as good, maybe a tad worse. The vocals are lol in regards to placement. They just kind of come in and out whenever he feels like it, and it's mostly because the lyrics are a bunch of sentence fragments. Other than the odd vocal placement, the album's a bit heavier and more raw but still ridiculously awesome.

You're about three or four years late on the Hollenthon hype. They're okay. Would not call them "symphonic death metal". I would save that for bands like Phlebotomized.

So guys I've been getting back into the somewhat newer era brutal death type stuff... been listening to a ton of None So Vile, Iniquity, Behemoth, Vehemence type stuff I know most of you guys feel like your music tastes have progressed beyond that kind of thing but can any of you recommend me some good **** I haven't heard?

Benighted's newest album is really bad and yeah it has rapping. But just the new one. Identisick is what you're looking for.
