I haven't listened to it. Meh. It'll either be Hetfield, or some obscure band off one of the numerous Metallica tribute CDs.
:smash: |
It is Hetfield, his voice was rather weird in the early days, like in Metal Militia on Cliff 'Em All with the voice vibrato (i think) at the end of every line. I think it's just the crappy recording of it makes his voice sound higher.

A couple of pictures I found amusing.
Would it matter if it was recorded while he was still in the band? Mustaine never did lead vox in Metallica, just lead guitars.
:smash:
Yes He did He did a Lot of live vocals before they ever recorded KEA I even saw a video of him sing/sceaming it was only after he left that they made james sing |

Its actually real, but the second part is faked, although they have kissed before :thumb:
|
The first one is digusting. no way that's real
Maybe they're both comfortable enough with their sexualities to do it. Or they just wanna freak everyone out. |
holy crap that's weird.
|
That is pretty fukked up, but they were probably wasted or stoned or something
|
Pfft they're not wasted or stoned, they just do it to get reactions like the one from FlyingPaul.
|
You guys do know that the one where they are actually kissing is most likely fake right?
|
You guys do know that the one where they are actually kissing is most likely fake right?
It looks photoshopped, you can see where Kirk and Lars' faces meet that it doesn't look right. |
Umm.. If you look at it, it's exactly the same as the first, just the heads are closer, I think... The second one is definately photoshopped...

Hehe, don't worry dude. When i saw it a couple years back i was like "Ewww Kirk and Lars are gay ewwwww!" but i realised they wanted those reactions. |
Yea I can see them doing something like that to freak someone out
and it looks to me like they are wearing the same clothes as the load session pictures..but that's Just me |
Yea I can see them doing something like that to freak someone out

Ya, the 2 toungues are pretty much just a blur |
They do that stuff because they are MEtallica and they just do random stuff to be funny and get reactions out of people. Plus they can do whatever they feel like pretty much and get away with it.

It was from a band called Rainbow House or something a really obscure NWOBHM band. I see what you mean. The voice melody sound the same too. |
ah back from The Middle of Nowhere, New York.
so how's everyone? I think it was the end riff they said they stole from another band. It's ok, they made it famous and the other band didn't  btw, it was posted awhile ago that kirk did ALL the solos on KEA. if that's so, why don't they play the first horsemen solo? |

Did Metallica inadvertently "borrow" a musical idea from another band for their 1986 dark "power ballad" "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)"? Several Internet reports definitely seem to suggest so.
A song called "Rainbow Warrior" by the obscure NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) band Bleak House (photo) appears to contain undeniable similarities to the Metallica classic. The Bleak House track was released as a seven-inch single in 1980 via Buzzard Records, and was followed up by another seven-inch single in 1982 and various compilation appearances before the band apparently called it a day. A self-proclaimed NWOBHM fanatic, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich spent much of his time in the early '80s tracking down obscure recordings from his favorite groups of the era. Ten years after the NWOBHM's glory days of 1982, Ulrich took time out to put together a multi-band compilation, "'79 Revisited: New Wave of British Heavy Metal", along with journalist Geoff Barton, whose work in the now-defunct weekly U.K. rock paper Sounds had kept Ulrich posted while he was in the States. thats from some metal site - you can download the song here- http://metalunderground.com/news/details.cfm?newsid=10832 |
Heh, it's James Hetfield's 42nd birthday today (3rd August).
