Beer makes the world a happy place. Things have been pretty good, just working till Uni goes back.
The only other person that I know of that is from Oregon on this site has invaded the thread with beer.
I apologize. :(

Sounds pretty decent. To be honest, I'd rather be working a steady job than moving from club to club every single night. I don't even get paid more than 1/10 of the time for what I do.

When do you guys play a gig in the upcoming future? I would like to go out and see you guys some time.

We're playing this Friday at The Milwaukie Underground @ 6:30pm. $4 at the door. Also, the next gig we know of so far is April 2nd at Music Haven, but we're more than sure to get quite a few gigs before then.

Riva 02-17-2005 06:57 AM

/phayle :(

Tour to Aus, that'll be good.

Meh, I went to the gym yesterday morning, first time in three months. The way I see it, I've earned a weekend of brewing.

That would be awesome. Hopefully we do tour internationally at some point.

Where abouts is the Milwaukie Underground? I only pass through Milwaukie when going to the Roseland Theater for shows heh.

I might be able to show up depending on what time I get back from work.

Riva 02-17-2005 06:59 AM

Just make sure you play the smaller towns up north as well. ;)

Cool, I'll see if I can make it or not. If not I'll catch the next one.

gmoneyguy 02-17-2005 07:02 AM

Hey Riva, I got the songs.

I don't remember asking for em though.

Captain Jack Sparrow 02-17-2005 07:02 AM

I'm starting to really enjoy R&M again. It lost it's appeal for a while because it dropped back to it's horrible noob infestation state, but it's getting decent again lately.

I'm out for a smoke. I'll be back in a few.

Sounds good, hopefully you can show. It should be pretty good, since we have a perfect 50/50 between our cover songs and our originals. There'll be something for everyone.

gmoneyguy 02-17-2005 07:03 AM

Im out for school, later guys.

DonMancini 02-17-2005 07:03 AM

Question:

My girlfriend has been acting extra irritable and has been really mean to me this week (she's hurt me pretty badly). Can this be blamed on the period?

I mean it wasn't this bad the last times...

what kinda stuff do you play?

Riva 02-17-2005 07:13 AM

Girls just get insecure sometimes. They really want to hear you compliment them every now and then.

Blues rock. Our music is very 70's remisicent, which the crowd seems to enjoy. We're big fans of AC/DC, Zep, Blue Oyster Cult, etc... and so we're trying to bring back that kind of music.

Nah man it's not that kind of mean/angry/irritable... I don't really know how to explain so I'll give an example: She was pissed off becasue I was arguing with her about surfing, and then said that she started realising that she was too dependent of me. And she went on to say that when I saw her earlier today, she felt less close to me.

And it really hurt me when she said that. Later on in the conversation things got better, she said that she felt really close after all, blah blah, but it's really annoying.

ArcLite 02-17-2005 07:19 AM

Mmmmm...Cocoa Krispies with side of Michelob Golden.

Very nice.

Als do you know of a local band name Pillars Of Nein? They added me on My Space and are located in Portland, and they are sorta like industrial rock/metal.

Arucard 02-17-2005 07:22 AM

Tour England!

Also i have come to the conclusion that DragonForce seen to be the only power metal band respected by everyone in R+M that has heard them.
