Good news, guys.

I have just started work on my recording studio today. Pretty much, I bought the computer. Because we have plenty of old monitors, and my friend gave me the Ram, and I got a great deal on my hard drive, it all came up to only $470 for this:

Pentium D 820 CPU
Asus PBn VM Motherboard
1 gig DDR2 667 mhz Corsair Ram
300 gig Seagate SATA Hard drive
400 watt Case (looks really cool)
Pioneer DVD Burner 16x

I installed Linux on it, and I'm typing from it as we speak. Pretty spiffy, a lot cooler then Windows. In about a week or two, after my next paycheck, I'll go out and get the Firestudio, which will blow a hole in my savings :p

Phil, I didn't know 350 D's were discontinued. I found out at a shop the other day, I'ma see if I can't find a good price on one.

Aye they were replaced with the 400D. Only difference is the 400 is 10mp and the 350 is 8mp.

Anything over 6mp is useless unless you're a pro/in advertising.

ours had the swills from about 150 peoples drinks in it, all the fruit we could find, plus about 8 turnips, complete with stalks and mud, chicked in an industrial sized blender...

And probably a few traces of rohypnol, if you're lucky.
