We are separated from what was at the time considered the "center of the world." We choose not to involve ourselves in European affairs. The LON was created as part of Woodrow Wilson's 14 Points. The leaders of Britain and France dismantled all of Wilson's plan for peace except for the LON because they wanted Germany to have a restricted military and for them to pay war restitutions. The fact that they dismantled these points is a good reason that Hilter rose to power because he could use that against the world. The reason we didn't join the LON is because we wished to return to our policy or neutrality.
