But-but-but I was tirrred today. And they live in San Diego, they will be back in no time.
|
Are they that awesomly wicked band on Facedown?
|
Totally brah
|
yea, they are one of the best hardcore bands ive seen in a while...although i saw them a while back...and you are forgiven shane...for now....just casue i forgot you are in the area...you lucky bastard....oh and Fallcore is coming up in Houston...the best hardcore bands in all of texas on two stages...November 13....its gonna be friggin great :chug:
|
Do you have any links about the fest? I'm interested on who's playing.
I don't know when it is, but you should goto the Texas Showdown in Dallas if you get the chance. Way fun considering its in my favorite club. |
The Deal are Christian :P
|
They're from my town. I do believe they practice a few blocks from me. Great band.
EDIT (after reading more of thread): I'm pretty sure they don't live in San Diego, Shane, unless they moved there recently. They're from Chino and I'm pretty sure at least a couple, if not all of the members, still live here. |
Everyone throws the term 'screamo' around way too much.
They have the adrenaline pumpin', of course, but they don't have any real true emotion going on on-stage. Whoever denies that should go see a real emo band play.
I'm sure they have nothing on most emo bands when it comes to being emotional on stage, but Hot Cross are definitely emotional live. I enjoyed. |
My new Winamp skin is so pimp. Guns rule.
I was going to see The Deal tonight but I just didn't feel like it...I totally blew off this band that was giving me a ride. Oh well. Next week: Friday - Backyard-ish show with Adora, Betrayed, and some other local bands. There will be a lot of faggots and a lot of drama. FUN! Saturday - The Warriors & With Or Without You in Anaheim. HALLOWEEN SHOW!
I'm off next Friday. Where is said show? |
My new Winamp skin is so pimp. Guns rule.
There's only one real pimp thing on these boards, and that's me. |

One of my friends was kinda of dating their guitarist (the guy from Seventh Star) and she was telling me about how The Deal were in San Diego. This was when I was in Texas mind you. And were you asking about the show on Friday? |
Dec 12 Miles Between Us REUNION, Mental, Righteous Jams, The Wrong Side, DrugxTest
OH YES. |
Yeah, where is it?
It's here in Irvine at Park Paseo. I doubt you'll really have to pay because Betrayed and Adora set the whole thing up. If you want to come I can give you directions and stuff.

heres the link to the flyer for Fallcore: http://txhc.com/images/fallcore.jpg
the band 5 Families is from here in Laredo...good band...:chug: |
Die Young, Blood Ties, Layin' It Down, Holdxfast...very nice.
I just heard Burn What Binds last night from 40 oz 2 freedom. Very good band, they remind me of With Honor and The Contender somewhat. |
i saw Burn What Binds about a week ago with Accept the Blame and Take Your Shot...good show
|
I had never heard Bury Your Dead before, I listened to a song off their new album, and it is really good.
|
i love pride kills and will to live and die young are ok too. the new pride kills cd doesn't come out until half way through next year i heard, i was hoping it was earlier then that.
|
Are Integrity and Blinding Light any good? I've been meaning to check them out for sometime but I can't find their stuff anywhere..
I'm digging These Enzymes and Mortal Treason right now. |
Integrity are an awesome band if you're into the tough guy stuff. I haven't heard the others.
|
Just got back from CBGBs: Anterrabae was really good, the AKAs were decent until the singer started preaching politics, Zombie Apocalpyse was SICK, but they played hardly any songs and played the intro to "Welcome to the Jungle" but changed to a different song. Decent show overall, but I'm glad I was on the guestlist and didn't have to pay $10.
|
i didnt read all 140 pages of this but i didnt notice any mention of nintendocore. to my knowledge horse the band made this up and is the only nintendocore band around. if you havent heard them you should.
|
They're the only band. I would say more or less everyone here knows that. No need to tpye up a whole description.
|
You must have missed about 50 pages of pure "nintendocore" bull****. Horse The Band aren't even that great.
|
2 good songs. The Cutsmen breakdown is cool to watch live with the whole crowd.
|
Ahh DrugxTest are awesome.
|

If I can round up some buddies, I might check it out. I'll let you know if I need directions. EDIT: Oh wait, I'm going to that stupid Nevea Tears show at Showcase. I told my friend I'd go. His cousin is in A Fall Farewell, and he's all over their nuts so he'll probably cry if I back out. |

I'm digging These Enzymes and Mortal Treason right now.
Integrity = Definitely badass Blinding Light = I only moderately like them, but I know a lot of people securely attached to their nuts. Their singer sounds a lot like Tom Araya and they're pretty thrashy, that's the best I can describe them. Mortal Treason = Guilty pleasure Haven't heard that other one. |
I think These Enzymes is the band that has the All American Rejects' guitar player. I've never heard them before though.

Is An Albatross considered Nintendocore? |
I donno, I've never heard them. But I remember back in the day when we had the Nintendocore spree a few people were discussing them.
|
nitendocore isn't even a genre. HORSE the band said it was a joke, but kids took the genre and just spread it. meh, i don't really like them. cutsman is an ok song though.
|
It is pretty silly...
|
Anyone else listen to Fury of Five? I've been listening to them alot today.
|
Party Of Five= Metalcore
|
Paty of Five = TV Show
Fury of Five = A hardcore band who beat the shit out of anyone who crossed their path |
I was talking about the boy band from like five years ago.
|
Boy band? What the hell?
