But that means I'll have to wait until the next issue comes out. The comic book store said it's going to be delayed for 2 weeks due to print problems.

Can't you just tell me? pweeeaaaasssse?

But that would ruin all the fun.
Or a villain.

I won't say which. But it'll be revealed soon enough.
I know your alter-ego.

Anyone here make bags?

fatbandit 05-15-2009 05:38 PM

Maximum Carnage was cool.

Just don't get into the Clone Saga -_-

Bad story arc. Long story arc.

In other news, my left ear is sore, slightly inflamed, and I can't hear anything in it :(

burtonbassist_102 05-15-2009 07:16 PM

carnage was the shit. if they make another spider-man movie, i think he would be the only one who can save it.

assuming, of course, they don't totally fuck up his character like they did venom.

GAHHH i hate spider-man 3.
I'm actually doing my first build also. Just got my 8GB of DDR2 (1066hz) memory in yesterday. Now all I need is a good power supply and a nice heatsink and she'll be ready.

Then I get to install ubuntu and rid myself of Windows (ew).
i'm on a ****-tight budget, got quoted about $420 for a system, 2GHz, 1GB RAM, 500GB HDD, delivery included.

granted, the motherboard and CPU will be the first things replaced, looking forward to Windows 7. 64-bit processor, and a butt-load of RAM, should be good.

probably gonna stick windows black on the new 1, til i can get windows 7 and it's a reasonable price.

when i get a note/netbook, i'll run some form of linux, get some nice wifi hacking going! not that i condone such activities

Try and get your hands on the linux versions of the eeePC... or just get an XP one and put linux on it.

Cramboli 05-16-2009 01:40 AM

Going with the eeepc is your best bet on that range...

funkyhoney 05-16-2009 01:50 AM

Yar it be true, the eeePB be the one for you.

funkyhoney 05-16-2009 01:51 AM

/can't spell "PC"

tomtom 05-16-2009 04:29 AM

it'll be a bit until i get a lappy, i wanna get a decent PC first. spending $400 to get started, then upgrade bit by bit. i'm looking forward to it.

though, i know it will get to a point where i'll have to through a big pile of money at it, but i'm cool for that.

and i'd perhaps lean towards a notebook over a netbook, full-sized keyboard would be help-ful. but i'll see ...

tomtom 05-16-2009 04:55 AM

also, anyone used Windows Black? i know some people who use, but haven't had a chance to ask about it. i know it could well be dodgey, but it seems a viable temporary solution

Rawb 05-16-2009 06:46 AM

Pow! I have returned after like a year or something!

I don't understand why so many people think that.

Doesn't anyone read Calvin And Hobbes?

gaslight 05-16-2009 10:28 AM

I think Snoop Dogg has something to do with it.

And nah, I never really read much Calvin and Hobbes. When I was little I was huge into Garfield.

Haha wow. Some of these are truly excellent.

Spaceman Spiff 05-16-2009 11:02 AM

I saw a pretty wicked band last night. This local band called Teenage X.

Then we had to fight off drunken natives. It was... retarded.

Moon Flavor 05-16-2009 11:02 AM

Calvin and Hobbes was the **** when I was a kid. I read (or looked at rather?) a lot of Far Side when I was a kid too that **** is amazing.

Garfield minus garfield is pure gold tho

LOL!

gaslight 05-16-2009 11:07 AM

What kind of natives do you have where you are?

Yeah, I'm upgrading my opinion of Garfield Minus Garfield, after reading every single one I am utterly amazed. That was incredible. I want to go to the garage and get my old Garfield books out and re-imagine every single one.

Moon Flavor 05-16-2009 11:15 AM

Yeah dude jon's a creepy mother****er

I dunno... Canadian natives? They were drunk as hell. It was 4 fat girls and one scrawny guy. The girls kept attacking the girls we were with for absolutely no reason. One even ripped out a chunk of my friend's hair.

The guy wasn't doing anything but standing back and talking crap because he knew he'd have been face down in the street if he touched any of us. Instead we guys just defended the girls by blocking the fat drunks from getting close to them.

Then the waitress came out of the bar and told us it's not the first time these idiots have caused trouble there.

gaslight 05-16-2009 11:25 AM

They sound like they should put down humanely if possible.

I just had my first try at making a Garfield Minus Garfield.
