So i have to choose a password for a college login so i can see my application status and i can't think of anything that meets this criteria:

- Password must be between 8 and 16 characters in length;
- Include at least one upper case character, one lower case character, and one numeric digit.
- Password may optionally contain one or more of the following special characters: ,._!@#-^+=
- Password should not be an obvious derivative of a dictionary word;
- Password should not contain any information easily associated with you (e.g. your UC Application ID, UCSB Perm Number, name, email address, etc.).

I've tried so many things that i'd have to get a random word generator to make a password for me.

yeah some of those threads talked about salespeople who swore one thing when another thing was true....their intentions were there, just misinformed about the product (sounds like me at my work).

I don't know about the Project, I don't have it and its new so I haven't done research on it at all. Good luck with figuring something out though.

Yeah, that's a bit of a tough situation. Obviously a 15-year-old girl shouldn't be with someone who's 21 and treating her like s'hit.

But there's not a whole lot you can do. Keep a close eye on it, and if it starts to get out of hand (judgment call), let someone know who's in a position to either handle it or atleast hold influence over her.

I've dealt with siblings of a girl (13) who was living with a drug dealer (24), and he treated her horribly. Not the funnest thing to deal with for me, her friends, or her siblings who came to me about it. Telling a teenager what to do, who to hang out with, who to like, etc, accomplishes nothing and makes it tougher to connect with that person. And some things (within reason, obviously) they need to experience themselves, and learn to build resilience.

It's a bit of a lose-lose situation, unfortunately. :(

But when i was asking the guy questions about it, he took out his presonus price book (had a bunch of info and stuff on them) and in it, it said the firestudio and firestudio project are compatible with eachother, but not the FP10. So why would they need to be compatible with eachother?

The Firestudio doesn't have any sort of firewire chaining.
