I'm listening to the first Todesstoss demo right now. Don't bother with it, very basic riffing but absolutely atrocious production.

I don't want to start a lot of worship here but you guys should check out Angantyr. I'm predicting that once the band gets a bit bigger it'll be all over the internet.

NP Emperor - Ancient Queen

I just listened to the self titled EP and As Shadows Rise EP yesterday for the first time lol. This is so much better then the Wrath of the Tyrant demo, which was boring.

Anthems is still my favorite Emperor album. :)

No Emperor album is my favorite Emperor album :p

I don't really like Emperor, but if I were to listen, I'd go for In the Nightside Eclipse. It's got the few songs I actually enjoy.

Emperor is pretty terrible, but they do a healthy job with A Fine Day to Die.

Yeah, unfortunately ITNE only has 3 or so songs I really like and I don't like Anthems much.

These early EP's are pretty good, though.

Austin, you should listen to these EP's. And I NEVER listen to that cover.

i've only heard Dominanz. its pretty solid but most of the songs are kind of boring.

The original beats the cover as usual. Also Angantyr is already pretty well known, too bad they aren't any good.

I can understand that people like it less than the original, but it's definitely not bad.

I don't know how you guys can not like that but enjoy other Emperor garbage.

It's not that I don't like it. It's just if I feel like listening to that song, I'll listen to the original. I never have an urge to listen to the cover.
