"an aquired taste" is the best way to put it. i am glad to be able to say that i have fully aquired it.

Tom doesn't have a bad voice, nor does he even need a good voice to still play with Slayer. The band would not be the same without Tom...at all. Just because Tom has lost a lot of his voice due to his age, doesn't justify his early years. Look how long he held that not on Angel of Death.

He doesn't need to be able to sing properly. His vocals fit the music perfectly, and it wouldn't seem angry enough etc, If he sang properly anyways.

Techniquely he's not that great a singer. With that said though, his vocals are great. They fit the lyrics and music perfectly.
