I'd like to have that six string bass that either john or george would play whenever paul was playin piano. the one george uses during Hey Jude and John uses during Let It Be. there were others, but i (george isnt even sure if he or john played bass on a few songs) cant remember which ones. and pauls Ric that he used in the latter days is a beautiful piece of work (i liked it better before he had the paint stripped).

Somthing I always wondered is well by the time the White Album came around all the members of the Beatles were just doing their own thing for the most part. I wonder if they stayed together their latter cds would just sound like their solo careers.

Sgt._Joker 04-19-2005 06:02 AM

i dont think so, course, it wouldnt work with Pauls career becoming way more Pop influenced then Johns and George's more folk approche,

Walrus Gumboot 04-19-2005 01:54 PM

I can't stop thinking about that bass. I draw pictures of it in school and sigh longingly

GeorgeHarrison 04-19-2005 04:33 PM

Do you write love letters to it?

MalcolmYoungRock 04-19-2005 04:46 PM
I can't stop thinking about that bass. I draw pictures of it in school and sigh longingly
That's incredibly sad.

Seafroggys 04-19-2005 04:51 PM

I'm pretty sure they played with Gretsch's at one time.

There's a Beatles gear book you can buy at bookstores, and I found a Beatles gear website once that was pretty good, but incomplete.
It's not epiphone either haha.

I think it might be a Grescth(sp?)
Okay, you need to calm your ass down right now.

I said it's not an Epiphone, big fucking deal.

I told him it's not an Ibanez because I said Ibanez hasn't been around that long.

Okay, so you know what guitar he uses on the rooftop, big fucking deal. Maybe, YOU shouldn't be such an pompous little shit because I messed up on a fucking internet forum.

Users like you make me want to quit MX.

I don't usually draw things in class.

I just write lyrics to whatever song's stuck in my head.

It's been "Across the Universe" for the past week or so.

God, I LOVE that song.

JamesPatrickPageZoSo 04-19-2005 05:16 PM

what are some beatles songs that people didnt like when they were younger but like now. i've been listening to i dig a pony a lot lately. the 3/4 time while singing in 4/4 time is really cleaver. the more i understand how music works, the more respect i have for these four amazin songwriters.

Yea it's nearly identical, Tales of Brave Ulysses has a psychedelic edge to it and it alittle less studio refined. White Room is more crisp and clean cut.

Once I drove into NYC and there were deer under an overpass in the Bronx. Swear to god. And no, this has absolutly nothing to do with The Beatles
