uuuuummmmm.... howa bout DIY beer. how do you make beer? any one know? or mtn dew. oh boy! lol.
My dad used to make his own beer. It... wasn't very good. I would know because as a kid he used to let me taste it. What a good father.

I remember all the buckets and **** that were in the basement. When we finally got rid of them (only a year or two ago) they just reaked.

I know this taught you nothing on how to make beer, I just thought I'd share.

white_riot 05-30-2005 05:19 PM

My family makes its own wine, tomato sauce and Salami.

asdf 05-30-2005 05:20 PM

My family makes its own beer and clothes. Everything else is garbaged picked.

I was raised to grow up poor :(
Here's my shirt done by my stencil method.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/DIYshirt.jpg

Shirt: 1$
Paint: given to me by a friend
Stencil cardboard: My mom garbaged picked a few years ago
Exacto knife: Free, they're everywhere in my house

So really, all this shirt cost was a dollar and a little bit of my time. Sweet.
Cool, I'm making a stencil right now.

Brain Toad 05-30-2005 11:44 PM

Here are some pictures from my vest which reached a finishing point today (still have my backpatch coming, an Aus-Rotten patch, buttons, studs, and maybe some homemade patches)

Heh, Link 80 and then The Exploited.
Weirdo!

Put a fun kind of fabric on it.
I may put poke-a-dots on mine.

IFlogMyMolly16 05-31-2005 09:12 PM

That's pretty horrorshow.

SactoUnited 05-31-2005 09:16 PM

Thats pretty **** kool. Kool with a K-O-O-L

TheNowhereman42 05-31-2005 10:15 PM

I bought a camo jacket for 2 bucks, ripped the sleeves off, threw some old patches on it and painted a giant peace sign on the back

DIYXCORE!!!!!

Rise Me Up 05-31-2005 10:18 PM

That is a nice vest.

Brain Toad 05-31-2005 10:20 PM

I wore it today for the first time. Was a bit odd, but it always is when you wear a new article of clothing for the first time. Got a couple of cool comments on it from friends. People were shocked to see me without my jacket, as I'm so accustomed to be seen wearing.

TheNowhereman42 05-31-2005 10:21 PM
Nice vest.
I'd have to agree, other than the Exploited patch. And Nick gets bonus points for not replacing his collar with leapord skin like everybody else.

TheNowhereman42 05-31-2005 10:23 PM

I wanna make a reverse vest, where instead of ripping sleeves off a jacket I buy a vest and make sleeves out of back patches and random scraps of material.
