For the first time in all my MX time, I've putsomeone on my ignorelist. :)

8 dollars isn't that bad for a book imo.
But if you don't like it, any price is too much.

A month.

a whole lotta moving house - my parents are moving 200 miles away and taking the internet connection with them

then im moving to a 1 bedroom flat and ill get internet connection if i can afford it

i move out in 2 weeks!

Well I think it's a lot because I rarely re-read books, so for the one-time enjoyment that's a lot of money :(

The can I afford it question has no relevance.
If there is any question in relation to internet and it's cost it's: What money consuming thing should I save on, so that I can buy internet instead.

You have a point there.
I don't reread books as fast, or as much as I rewatch movies, but I still think it's worth buying them.
And since I don't always feel like reading it in one go, libraries are no option for me.

Here in the Netherlands all these companies pop up now, offering internet, tv and fixed phoneline in one go, for a very good price.

I'm not that big on TV, but it's nice to watch every now and then.
The main things I watch is news and d0cumentaries.

here it's different though - you have to pay for a TV license too which isn't worth it since anything i watch is really DVDs or stuff that's all downloadable on the internet
