Well, we decided that we're going to put out an EP instead of an album, so I have to finish the drum programming and we're going to start the bass tracks....I have to finish working on a couple solos too.

Between that and a wife and a kid and a Job, I'm not going to be on here very much for about a week or so.

Yea, I'll put 4 of the songs on our myspace, and we'll rotate them in and out every once in a while....

It's going to be sooo much better than our demo.......I'm so happy with the way things are going with these songs......I cringe every time I hear our demo now....

You know, I might be an *** somtimes, but i will go through f*cking hell and back for my son. He's my world.

That's why I'm so involved with music.....I don't want him to grow up like I did--With F*cking nothing. It's the one thing I'm good at, so life or death I will bring it to the point that I can give him more in life than what's accepted/normal (read: boring).

That's really commendable dude... I hope that when/if I have kids that I can be a good father to them.

Also; short story time!

My dad was a trawler captain, so I spent the first 2 years of my life on a trawler, with some shore leave. Mum and Dad didn't fight out at sea, because they were busy all the time.

However, when I was 3 or so, we moved into our house, and that's when they started fighting. I absolutely hated it, they would quarrel over the most inane things, and it usually ended in Dad going to his brother's house. It never came to violence luckily, my Dad was the one who taught me to never hit girls.

Anyways, when I was 5 or 6, they seperated, and divorced when I was 7. As I look back on it, that was the best thing that could have happened. I lived with Mum, and saw Dad and his wife (a really kind-hearted lady) every weekend. I was an intimate part of both my Mum's and Dad's household, and went through every trial and tribulation.

And I grew up fine. Nowadays, my Dad lives in another town, so over the past 4 years I've seen him about 6 times. We even went for 10 months without speaking. I ring him whenever I can, but he's usually working at his workshop, so I leave a message. I think it's still a strong bond I have with him, regardless of our contact time.

Now I'm 19 and a bit, driving myself around, going to Uni, working to support myself, the works. I don't sit at home getting pissy and writing crappy rap songs about how I hate my mum. I basically got over it, and turned it around for the best.

Of course, this is Australia. I'm not sure if it would work in the US, considering how selfish you guys are, on the whole.

Yeah, I'm fine with my Parents divorce.
Looking at it, it was probably a good thing in the long run.

I don't know the circumstances surrounding it, and I don't want to, whatever happened is nothing to do with me.
Now both parents are remarried, it's cool, I at least tolerate my Stepfather, even though I don't like him much, but My stepmum is cool.

M Dad gave up pretty much everything he was entitled to for increased Access to me and my bro, and I'll always love and respect him for that, I see him twice a week, and talk to him nearly every day.
Some times are hard, and life deals you some crappy hands alot, but you've just got to live with it and not whine, there's no use complaining about it, there's alot of guys a hell of alot worse off than me.

That's just my experience anyways.

My parents have stuck it out together for 38 years so far, they have their quarrels here and there, but it's nothing that bad, it's just having to deal with the fact that my father is bipolar, and I'm glad that my mom is a good enough person to put up with that.

Any problems I have in my house are almost always directly related to bipolar syndrome running in my family, my dad has it, and my brother Jay has it, so both have gone through some pretty angry fits, unfortunately I seem to always be the one getting hit... probably because I can never keep my stupid mouth shut.

It's given me good stories though, not many people can say their father's beaten them with their own shoe :p.

From my mom I've gotten:
spankings, beltings

That was all normal discipline though.

From my dad:
punches to the face many times, the shoe incident, just thrown around, and normal discipline

From my brother:
punches to the face/chest/whole upper body while being pinned down many, many, times

luckily we got him institutionalized, and he's been making a lot of progress.

I really wasn't that bad. If anything I just got punished for getting into arguements/fights with my brothers.

I was very close to being suspended from first school.
then when I went to middle school, there were kids alot worse than me.

The first school was this all woman teacher, cchurch controlled thing. All I wanted to do was sit and read all day. Still do as a matter of fact:p
