Looks like it's just me and you awake again. I just woke up from a nap, so I'm going to be up for awhile.

You work every night?

Nah, I love it. I get to avoid all the BS that goes on during the day. I'm not even really a soldier any more, I just wear the uniform. Its been like 6 months since I've done any "Army" type activites.

Well my actual job here is a network admin. However, of the 7 hours I'm here I only end up doing about an hours work. The rest of the time consists of MXing, listening to music, and playing card games.

Sounds good.

Time to go play a little Warcraft.

Take it easy.

Just a quick hello and then goodbye. I'm so unbelievably tired, especially considering I got to bed at a decent time and slept for a long time..:(. I have to go to this tutorial as well, because I've already missed several.

Quick hi back.

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:04 AM

Anyone still around?
I'm so proud, I HHG'd someone today :)

ArcLite 02-17-2005 04:05 AM

I'm here, as always. What the hell is HHG'd?

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:10 AM

HHG'd = Hitch Hikers Guided'd, it's when you quote phrases of the book at people.
Like today one of my friends said: "Ali, I thought you were dead" and I replied "I am, I just haven't stopped moving yet" alá Zaphod Beeblebrox.
I feel so good now :)

Heh, one of those "boy, I am one smart bastard" moments...

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:17 AM

It's not that, It's just that the series of books has so many good lines to quote.
It's just a shame that no one in my school would get the reference :(

Anyway, How're you doing?

ArcLite 02-17-2005 04:21 AM

Pretty good. I'm two and a half hours from starting my four day weekend so I can't complain. Any plans for the weekend?

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:25 AM

Four day weekend eh? Sounds like fun.
I don't have any plans as of yet, I generally just go with the flow.
I might go CD shopping though. It's been too long.

I have a CD buying addiction. I buy AT LEAST one per week.

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:33 AM

I've been pretty good recently, but only because I haven't been into Edinburgh.
I don't like buying CDs from around where I live becuase they're all so expensive.
Now all I need to do is make up some excuse for going through...

Burdcheese 02-17-2005 04:43 AM

I had the oddest evening last night.

Got invited to a Rocky Horror Picture Show video night. When I get there all the girls are trying on weird outfits (they tried to get me into a pair of dungarees with attached yellow flowers, but the Scissor Sisters really aren't my thing).

As the evening progresses, it turns out that all the other guys aren't coming. So I'm alone in a house with about ten girls. We have pasta and chocolate/mascarpone fondu (sp?) which is on the verge of solidifying and then we watch the film.

Now if any of you have seen it, you will know that it is odd (Described by someone as "quite simply the gayest film ever made"). So my lone male status is further tried by the fact that you have ten girls all talking about how fit/buff/hot/sexy Tim Curry and Richard O'Brien are in said film. Disconcerting as one is in full transvestite garb and the other is a balding hunchback.

And then there was the audience participation which involves throwing toast and toilet roll at each other and wearing newspaper over our heads.

Not to mention dancing the timewarp...

superpeer 02-17-2005 04:45 AM

/me has a slight hang over :( :upset:

munky_magik 02-17-2005 04:45 AM
