I got burnt out on it after thinking it was ****ing brilliant for about a month and never really got back into them.

Neon Bible was alright, but not much more than that. I do have a huge soft spot for No Cars Go, however.

neon bible is sweet, i like black wave, neon bible, intervention, keep the car running alot but overall funeral is way better

I'm back at my mum's place for my birthday though so I'll be going through my music library on my pc over the next few days no doubt.

Also been listening to this album from a bunch of Daoist monks, typical relaxing slow tempo chinese music. Very good to relax to. I've been a bit of a mess today because it was two years ago today since my dad passed away but this has relaxed me alot.

Youthmovies - [I]Good Nature[/I]

This is my favorite band right now and I just got a advance copy of their debut. They've been a band for like 5 years and released a load of EP's but this LP just blows everything they've done out of the water. Probably going to be my album of 2008, I'm lost for words. Stunning.

Nice dude, it's an alright venue. DC can suck for shows because a lot of people like to just stand around, but we still get good artists coming through.

too true

so many artists get pissed at us for not showing them love

and they think that since none of us are like jumping and/or screaming that we are not enjoying the show so they will end the set early and you can sort of tell that that's why, and it's like damn i want to write you an apology on behalf of Washington DC or something

I went to 9:30 once to see Umphrey's and it seems like a pretty cool venue except for security, 4 of my friends got kicked out in one night. A couple of my friends are pretty upset about those two sold out wilco shows though. Anyway, I think I'm gonna go see The Fiery Furnaces and Holy F[size=2]u[/size]ck there on sunday
