Haha, all that from 3 drinks? What are you, 75 pounds?

Maybe they were rufis
I have nooo idea why I got so sick. I guess I am more of a smoker then a drinker, anyway.

i think the pop-punk forum's idea of "top 100 non-pop-punk bands" is terrible! they're the last people who would know what else is good! and it's clear that the winner will probably be Thursday, Thrice, or some other post-hardcore band that has enough in common with their favorites to play Warped Tour almost every year.

or even worse, R&M will invade so Metallica and Pink Floyd will win!

Luxor 04-02-2006 05:44 PM

isn't your favourite band system of a down or some shit

like you're in any position to talk like that

No they're not. But I'm just saying that it's going to be weak no matter what, even though I think it's a noble experiment. It's not like I'm in a position to say what the best pop-punk bands are either.

I watched Beautiful Dreamer: Brian Wilson and the Story of 'Smile' over the weekend. I was already pretty familiar with the story, but it was a good documentary nonetheless. Pretty ironic when in the beginning of the film, all of his friends talk about how his first acid trip started this huge spark of creativity, and then at the end, Brian Wilson talks about how ever since that first trip he's heard voices in his head saying "I'm going to kill you."

Yeah... I'd have to agree. What's the point? Isn't that why there are multiple forums, for the variety of genres? They can learn about other genres from those forums instead of from other pop-punkers.

And Spat Out Path likes dick more than any other A/Ier.

Another non-shock.

I actually voted in the polls too, but it wasn't easy because one poll had four or five bands I wanted to vote for. But I do think it was funny that another poll had both Led Zep and Metallica in it, as sort of a "Fuck you!" to the R&M immigrants who thought they could easily skew the polls their way.

So maybe there's hope after all!

You think about MX way too much.

Go vote in my useless poll in the pit.

YDload 04-02-2006 07:02 PM

I don't think about it TOO much, I just post too many words about it. Oops!

And consider your poll voted on.

conspiracy theorists like to say that kurt cobain couldnt have killed himself because he had a lethal dose of heroin in his system.

but doesnt that still mean that kurt killed himself, one way or another? or did courtney love jab him with a heroin needle and then shoot his corpse in the face with a shotgun? i'm baffled.

ATM 04-03-2006 12:38 PM

Update on Sonic Youth meeting:

Apparently, my aunt is having a party where everyone has to dress up like superheros

this should be interesting

New box avatar. A tribute to John Locke on Lost: the best Regional Collections Manager for a cardboard manufacturer ever.

Plus I just like box.

Kyle 04-04-2006 08:49 AM

hmm, I think it's time to change my avatar.

/goes off to search google images.

Edit: So hard to find a good Beastie Boys avatar. But they are rocking my world right now, so this will have to do.

Your location is funny as hell. As long as that stays the same, you'll be good.

Awesome. Who are you going as?

Kyle 04-04-2006 01:37 PM

He should go as a member of sonic youth and say that they are his hero.

ATM 04-04-2006 05:16 PM

Hmm, I'm not really sure who to go as. Any suggestions?

Wanker 04-04-2006 05:24 PM

Shave your head and go as Billy Corgan to weird them out.

Kyle 04-04-2006 05:37 PM

The way I look at it, there is only one superhero you can go as;
