archiects and my friends band opened for them so it was aight. wish architects played some old stuff though, it was only hollow crown/new stuff so i didnt even really get a boner.

hatemoshed the fuq out of some kids during blessthefall though so that felt pretty good

Really sucks how Architects picked up the metalcore torch and then dropped it for album sales. They really did sell out, you can't even front like this is 'progression'.

yeah it kind of blows. my friend was talking with one of the guitar players and from what he said it seems like they're really trying to appeal to american audiences more, because they sell only like 8% of their records or something ridiculous like that here. he said that canada and obviously the uk love them but they've never really been accepted that well in the us, but thats the biggest market so yeah.

Sounds like what Alexisonfire did, got pretty popular in Can and UK and had to sell out hard to really crack the US market.

sam carter despite his amazing vocal performance on Ruin did help to end the credibility of the band, I have a feeling I'll hate the new album.

the new songs didnt sound that bad, but things usually sound better live so idk

it's very meh

the fanbase they have now largely is very much into the hollow crown stuff, when I saw them recently the response for To the Death and Buried At Sea wasn't exactly amazing.

Dillinger would lol at that comment. Nightmares was kinda dillingery but much more botchy, and Ruin was even further away from both. Their guitarist is a faggot, who wants to grab all those american, absolute press-loving sceneters.
