Baby Dee - Safe Inside the Day
Not nearly as good as the Konk song. Transvestite (hemaphrodite) sings better than Joanna Newsom, doesn't write as interesting songs. Hmm. Best song is "Big Titty Bee Girl (From Dino Town)," which is about albinos. Hooray Drag City! |
Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire
Rekindling my love. It's still as strong as ever. |
Metal, well, kinda.
Midnight Juggernauts the Dears |
Earth

Cap'n Jazz - Analphabetapolothology

CURSED - III
|
90 Day Men- Panda Park
More people here should listen to these guys. Psych/prog with very melodic elements almost like newer Blonde Redhead. |

|
New Earth slays.

It's Neu!
It's Noy! Some band round here are selling badges that say 'It's pronounced TANAOU you twat', which made me smile. |
La Quiete - La Fine Non e La Fine

Elliott Smith - New Moon
|
Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire

Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime
1st time listening. So far it's really good. |
Gotta love Drive Like Jehu. :thumb:
I've been listening to a lot of American Football and Afghan Whigs lately. |
Giraffes?Giraffes! - More Skin With Milk-Mouth
finally found this. its pretty awesome. |
Protest the Hero - Fortress
Early Elvis Costello |
Teenage Cool Kids - Queer Salutations
very pavement/weezer like, just more aggressive. |
Polvo is like that too (also with more Sonic Youth-like guitar dissonance)
I just clicked back and forth between Meat Puppets' "Plateau" and Sonic Youth's "Death Valley '69" because they both start with drumstick clacks. and they were adjacent to each other in my shuffle. im dumb. |
der's nothing on top
but a bucket and a mop! |
Cruci****s - Wisconsin
|
Rites of Spring - End On End
|
Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime
1st time listening. So far it's really good.
Better than self-titled? If you've heard that. |
yes its better than self titled
|
No it's not.
|
No it's not.
I'll second that. SPIKES TO YOU! |
Their self titled and Yank Crime are both excellent, but Yank Crime pulls ahead because of the better production and "Sinews".
Unwound- Leaves Turn Inside You |
i think my favorite on self titled is If It Kills You
|
Cursed - III
Pyramids - Through the Hourglass |
is that pyramids album as generic as the first
|
I was about to say that.
|
i didn't really dig on the first one. this one seems a lot better.
|
So I picked up the album Broom by the band Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. Really the name just caught my eye, but I figured it would be stupid because a lot of alt/indie is. But there really isn't a crappy track on the album. Nothing groundbreaking, but I kinda like it.
|
yeah most alt/indie does suck man.
I've been liking some evangelicals. |
antelope - reflector
food for animals - belly - this is some of the best glitch hop i've heard |
