I've been going to a lot of ska shows lately (RBF, Streelight Manifesto, Pie Tasters) and they are by far the shows I have the most fun at.
Ska shows are by far the most fun. Because everyone is nice, into the music and dancing. You just can't go wrong.

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 02:53 PM
I don't like Ska too much, i dunno why.

I like Op Ivy though.

Happy 9k Dan
OMG I love **** !

RissaPoodle 07-27-2005 02:53 PM
If by got the crowd into you mean all the girls tried to touch Patrick while he just stood there and you couldn't even see his face then sure.
BLAH
I hate those girls. They make me vomity.
But no, that's not what I meant.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 02:54 PM

It's so happy and bouncy.

What is ****
?

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 02:55 PM

75% of the pop-punk shows I go to including warped tour almost involved screaming 14 year old girls in black shirts and tight jeans trying to grab and jumping up and down in the crowd...

Sugarcult, Warped Tour last year... Oi

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 02:57 PM

Wow I guess Rutabegas got cut from the team... this swear filter is a nice little add on effect but is dumb in a way. I don't know anyone who really uses dirty words in plural...

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 02:57 PM

Hmm, ok.

LOL i've NEVER been to a gig !

:(

Oh well, all will change in November

RissaPoodle 07-27-2005 02:57 PM
Ska is Dead III is coming by in Sept. \m/

Planet Smashers and the Toasters.
Planet Smashers is probably one of the bands that I had the most fun while watching them. THEY put on an amazing show.

I was really surprised this year at warped tour... There weren't as many of those kind of girls as I thought there would be. I prepared myself before going to give them my best death threats and such... but the majority of the people there weren't all that annoying.

Considering drugs were encouraged last year at Randalls Isle. I hope less girls will be there. You see some of the hottest girls and guys at Warped Tour though.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:00 PM

Hahaha
Cady?
Nah usually most of the girls look undevelopped and have that "childish" look on their face. Yeah Cady... :thumb:

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:02 PM

Hmm, i'm going to see Alkaline Trio and pssibly a few others.

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 03:02 PM

Alot of bands that have bad recordings I can see live and love. Alot of hardcore bands work like that for me, and weird bands like Billy Talent. I loved Billy Talents set at Warped Tour last year.

And stop trashing those people that look younger than they are. :upset:

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:04 PM

SHe looks 17 or 18 not 15 !

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 03:04 PM

I've always wondered how girls who are alittle chubby and ones with big boobs live through warped tour. Usually it's around 90 degrees here and lots of walking cant be good on the BODY! Everytime I go I incubate for basically all of the next day.

Bloodlust 07-27-2005 03:06 PM

sup guys

i wish i could go to the warped tour, but it already past my area.

The scene has been beer for girls as of late. They have been trying to acquire new tastes forcingly to things. Like alot of girls who listened to Taking Back Sunday and MCR are beginning to jump to Underoath and Norma Jean which is kind of sad. I guess wherever those hot pop-punk boys go they gotta go too.

Bloodlust 07-27-2005 03:09 PM
I don't think I've even seen what she looks like.

I've been mistaken for being 4-5 years older then I am since I was 13.
same here. everyone thinks im like 17 or 18 and really 14.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:09 PM

Have you ever thought that the girls who listened to Taking Back Sunday and MCR before are now aquiring a broader taste in music? That they are evolving as they get older?

As it would be a coincidence that "cute" pop-punk boys are allowed to aquire certain scene bands that are borderlining genres.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:13 PM

Dan, your so annoying with all your scene talk and that.

Maybe it's the boys that are following the girls. Ever think about that?
